http://hidamahigh.forum5.comHidama High was built a relatively short time ago, about 50 year past, a few miles outside a small modern town in China's countryside. It is a semi private school, meaning the exclusivity of a private school, yet, almost half the price of the average private school. Students from all nationalities are welcome, as long as they are within the age and grades that are offered. It is a large brick building, warm and inviting with a traditional Chinese look, yet modern and interesting to the youth of today's world.
If one were to wander to the main entrance they would enter into a large domed area, a plaque on one side, christianing the school "Hidama High". The main office is near there as well. If you continue walking through the domed room you come to a trophy case where there are a few trophies but would normally display the current theme of the school (a special assembly, the upcoming dance's theme, school spirit). You can go left to the arts wing or right to the athletic hallway. The commons opens up behind the case and if you continued to walk back through the commons and into the adjoining areas behind, you would find many a locker and classrooms, seperated into four different areas, kind of like peas in a pod.
If one goes right, to the athletic hallway, they will be lead to the changing rooms for gym class and other sports (seperated boys and girls of course), a large gymnasium with an indoor track, 6 basketballcourts side by side, and enough equipment to play most games. The hallway continues to lead outside where the campus is quite large, football and american football fields, baseball and basketball, tennis and even volleyball.
If one were to go left though, to the opposite side of the school, they will find the band and choir room, and a makeshift orchestra room for the small number of players of the string. There are a number of practice rooms in the corner of the school, where there are lockers to keep instruments and music kept safe. Said practice rooms all have windows. The auditorium is also housed there, and seats close to 750 people.
Another part of the campus, a small walk away is home to many of the students attending the school. There is a single buidling to house all the students who wish to live on campus, but they are not required to. Boys and girls are seperated by the left and right half of the building, on each of the 3 floors. They may cross into each others side, and even into each others rooms, but doors are expeted to stay open and mixed genders should not be mixed for sleeping arrangements. Not everyone lives on campus though, as there are many homes that are rented in the nearby town. Most often though, freshman and sophmores live on campus; juniors and seniors predominently live off campus.
The school is pretty normal. One would find graffiti in the bathroom stalls and gum stuck wherever. It's not a bad school. Most students want to be there and there are no disruptences. Once in awhile a student may cause a problem, but such instences are rare.
Overall Hidama High is a normal school with normal students, living how they want and doing whatever they can to be who they want to be and become.
((please note that there are no classes. this is all just RP. there are no formal teachers or classes. just think of it as always being the weekend
