Actually, Yo at the end of a sentence add " you know" to it. So if he says "hey this is cool yo", he's saying "This is cool, you know"
And as for slang...I don't really know any slang words...the only thing I know that could be considered slang, is when they only say part of a sentence instead of the whole thing; and it still retains the same meaning :D

that's because reno doesn't actually say yo. he says something like zotto lol.
hey, KorewaSora, why did you name yourself 'this sora'?
Actually, the wa part is kind of like "is"...the japanese grammar system isn't quite as complicated as english @_@. And I named myself "KorewaSora" (ThisisSora) Because Sora was the name I had in my japanese class. ^ ^

i think it can be a greeting. for example my friend's dad(who's fluent in japanese but no japanese himself) picked up the phone and said, "mushi mushi?" or something like that.

Yeah i heard this also! Its funny how there is alot of ways to greet people. Like how its respectable to bow to your friends when you say hello just a litle bit, but the more you bow, the more you are showing respect to the person you greet! lol......why cant they just say "Hi"?
