I Can't Believe This...

Tribute to Eddie Guerrero

For those who just saw Smackdown two days ago, and witnessed Eddie again cheat his way into victory (his trademark style), I have terrible news.

One of the best wreslters in the history of wrestling entertainment has passed away. He was found dead in his hotel room.

Eddie was indeed a favorite of mine, and hearing this is definatly killing me inside. I doubt I'll get over this anytime soon seeing as how I grew up admiring this man and all his accomplishments.

Eddie, thank you for representing your people everytime you entered the squared-circle. Thank you for being an inspiration to everyone around the world who dreams about becoming a wrestler. And thank you for putting a smile on my face everytime I was feeling down.

Your hilarious style of wrestling and attitude will always be remembered in our hearts. That's all I can say right now...I'm not in the mood to talk anymore.

This is, weird. I can understand why you would be upset, but he didn't really do anything with his life. His career was to beat the hell out of people for entertainment. Ling, Cheating, and stealing is nothing to be proud of.

Maybe because it appeals to todays generation. Maybe it's because he was funny and entertained the kids. WWE wrestling is pure entertainment, and his ways always brought a smilie on people's faces.

A WCW legend, his WWE career was just truly starting but now this. The whole lieing and cheating thing is an act. It's just for a good laugh.

As for not something to be proud of...what??? Everyone loved him for his act. It was pure, original, and matched his personality.

First of all, if there's a 7 year old kid watching, I don't think that they are gonna think it's just an act. I know it's entertainment, and it's just an act, I never said it wasn't. There gimmicks, something to pull the crowd in.

who cares if they don't think it's an act. i remember when i first watched wrestling, before i found out it was fake, i was so amazed!

I've known it was fake since I was like, 6. That doesn't mean it isn't cool. It's a fine show, and the time me and my dad got to really bond.

well, they don't really beat eachother up, so that statement only taints the business. a couple years ago, i used to watch wrestling every now and then...and even if it looked brutal, after i found it wasnt real...i was really fascinated by it. even today, i can come across a match and for some reason, i dont switch over. i put the remote down and i watch it to the end. its just...fascinating. and some of the stunts are just...wow.

its sad though that one of them has passed away. r i p eddie :)

My main question in this is how did he die? Drugs? Murder?
If drugs, then bloody hell with the guy. He's nothing to admire if he killed himself with drug use. Stupid is more like it.

Indeed, it's sad that another entertainer has died, but the way he died is what should be observed. Like I said, IF, drugs were involved, the he should be forgotten, and not admired. If other methods were the cause of his death....well, I hope he rests in piece.

My dad is in that city right now! Business trip...anyways.. WWE has never appealed to me and probably never will. I don't think that career is the one...and he could have done more. his death should be remembered( if it wasn't suicide or whatever like Infectious_Twilight said ) though.

It is very selfish to keep him here. He died for a reason. It was all planned before any of us were born.

i just wanna say that in my opinion if a famous personality in the entertainment business has a drug addiction and dies, im not holding that against him or her. in my opinion this person is only human and i wont squander anyone's reputation because of a terrible habit. instead, i would admire him or her for what they did...what they accomplished etc...instead of focusing on whatever personal problems and faults they may have. :)

with that said, i dont really have a clue who eddie was, other than he was a wrestler. thats all i need to know. :)

I must admit wrestling wasn't one of my interests, but the death of anyone (almost) is tragic, even if he led a darker life outside of WWE he was still a person with feelings and thoughts, and deserves to be left in peace, I think he would have been thankful to know that people are sad to hear that he has left our world. I think I can close this topic now, we know that a death has happened, and will stop any further flamming arguments. Goodbye and Godbless Eddie. Rest In Peace.
