There he was... their pride and joy looking up at them. Julie(sonic and shadow's mom) had given birth to a baby boy. Julie:"what shall we call him julius?" Julius(the dad):"well sense he's mostly black... we'll call him Shadow" (Sonic's dad's chromosomes carried the trait for a black and red hedgehog and another to look like him) Meanwhile in the past... Gerald still had not found the perfect creature for his final version for his project (biolizard was the prototype) sense he couldn't find anything that appealed to him in his era..... he built a time machine (remember he's a genius so he can do that) and went forward in time..... Gerald arrived in the era in which julie gave birth.... Gerald looked at julius and julie and shook his head... then.... Shadow caught his eye.... gerald hovered down with his robo hoverer
and snatched baby shadow "Our Baby!" cried julie and julius at the same time.... julius tried to save shadow but it was too late. Gerald arrived back in his own time and set baby shadow on a table, gerald made baby shadow enhale sleeping gas so Shadow wouldn't feel pain from the bioengineering, and just as baby shadow fell asleep.... Gerald began to bioengineer (mess with DNA) (Shadow and Sonic were born with speed but Shadow was given the ability to harness the power of the chaos emeralds while sonic learned how) meanwhile in the present.... a year after shadow's kidnapping sonic was born and yadda yadda yadda. now back to the past..... 16 years later in the past.... after being brought to the ark.... Shadow The Hedgehog was 16 years old.....
he was exploring the ark until.... in one of the rooms he spotted a blonde girl..... he went into that room. Shadow:"hello" the girl turned she was wearing a blue tee shirt with a lab coat over it and some pants. Girl:"oh, hi" Shadow:"i haven't seen you before... I'm Shadow, what's your name?" Girl:"oh, its maria" Shadow:"Maria eh? thats a nice name" Maria:"Thanks" Shadow:"um... Maria?" Maria:"yes?"
Shadow:"do you mind showing me around?" Maria:"sure, Why?" Shadow:"most of my life my master kept me in one room... testing my abilities... studying me"
Maria:"master? do mean my grandfather?" Shadow:"Gerald's your grandfather? I guess the answer is yes" Maria:"alright then... lets begin!" maria took shadow into a room deeper into the ark. Maria:"this is the control room.... and this is the eclipse cannon, one of the projects my grandfather was working on. it has the power to destroy an entire planet" Shadow:"what're those spiral slots for?" Maria:"for the chaos emeralds" Shadow:"chaos emeralds! I have one of those" shadow takes out his green chaos emerald. *shiiinngg* Maria:"its beautilful" Shadow:"I know"
maria takes shadow back to the room he found her in. Maria:"this.. is my special place where I think about things by looking down at earth through that window"
Shadow:"what's earth?" Maria:"come see for yourself" both shadow and maria are looking through the window. Maria:"shadow... what do you think its like on earth?"
Shadow:"the professor once told me that his life was dedicated to all who live down there... he said the reason for his exsistance was making people happy through the power of science" Maria:"Shadow..." Shadow:"maria.... i just don't know anything anymore... I often wonder why i was created... what my purpose is for being here... maybe if I go down there I... I will find the answers... maybe..."
The Military arrives on the ark and Shadow and maria rush to a room... shadow is placed in a capsule.. Shadow:"WHAT?" Maria:"shadow please... do it for me.."
Shadow:"Maria.." Maria:"for all the people on that planet give them a chance to be happy" shadow becomes frozen in the capsule (it hasn't been proved that you age when frozen) and is sent down to earth..... later.... After the SA2, SH, and SB stuff.... Sonic and Shadow are walking towards the hedgehog family hut with their friends.... soon Julie comes rushing out of the hut and instead of hugging Sonic she hugs Shadow. Julie:"Shadow! my son! you have returned!" everybody including Shadow:"WHAT?!!!!!!!!!!!!" Julie:"its a long story. Sonic, Honey, Shadow's your brother" Shadow unwraps his arms from his mom and backs away and says:"I don't know who you are lady or if you're telling the truth" Julie pulls out a chaos emerald binkie and says:"is this proof for you?" Shadow:"mom.... it is you!"
Sonic:"wow.... I have a brother..... that's not annoying" then sonic gives manic a noogie. THE END
