Hi From Eastern Canada!, Introductions

Hi! Just want to introduce myself - my name is Monica and I'm a 40 year old wife and Mom of two kids. I work outside the home 5 days a week. Most of the time I wear pants, but from time to time I wear a skirt or dress - and I have recently become a slip wearer.

My DH had always been a big fan of stockings and garterbelts, and I acquired a few pairs to indulge his fantasy, but very seldom wore them. Most of the time I go without hose, even if I wear a skirt or dress, but there are times when pantyhose are pretty much expected. So, one day, I went to put on a pair of pantyhose - only to find them ripping as I was putting them on. The next pair had a nasty run which only got worse. Every pair I tried was garbage fodder! I was very upset. DH suggested I go with stockings and a garter belt - so I put them on and although I felt a little self conscious, it did look right.

By the time I got to the office, I was feeling pretty good about myself. In the breakroom, while pouring coffee, my co-worker and soulmate/buddy Pamala grinned at me and said, Monica, you have joined the lingerie club! I asked what that meant. Pam giggled and said, Monica, I can see the bumps of the garter fasteners under your dress when you turn just so... Oops, then I noticed them too and turned crimson. Pam laughed, its ok, only another lingerie lady like myself would ever notice. Pam, how can I avoid this, I said? Pam laughed again, raised her dress hem a couple of inches, and giggled - with a slip honey, she said. Suddenly, I felt naked - garter bumps, no slip, I wanted to crawl in a hole.

Back to my office. Closed the door. I remembered that DH had taken a vacation day to install some hardwood flooring in our house. Please God, I said, let him be home. He answered and I explained my plight. Lucky you, he said, I can swing by Wal-Mart or Zellers on my way to Home Depot. My response, was, I'd prefer Reitman's. OK, he said. Then he told me what I needed - he said you need a nice, simple white full slip with lace around the bottom, actually, you need two. My response was, Phil, have you gone Clinton Kelley? He laughed, and then revealed that he liked the look of a woman in slips as much as stockings, and pretty and lacey was great and all, but to introduce me into the wonders of slips I should start with something really practical. So, I told him, go for it. Thankfully, he had seen the dress I was wearing this morning.

He arrived before lunch with a package. Reitman's didn't have any, but Wal-Mart did. I slinked to the lady's room and 5 minutes later returned to my office. I felt covered!

The slip felt good. Actually, it felt great. Since it was a full slip, I ditched my camisole. I then stopped by Pam's office and asked her how things looked. She looked this way and that, asked me to turn from side to side and gave the reply, no sign of garter lumps now. You look great! Welcome to the lingerie club! ;)

When I got home, the hardwood floor looked good. DH said I looked good too. I changed out of my dress, intending to put on my jeans. DH turned to me and said, wow! You like, I said. Oh, yeah his response.

Well, I told him, now that I have satisfied your secret fetish, you have to satisfy mine. Oh? he said. Phil darling, I want you to start wearing undershirts.

So, that evening, with the kids at Phil's folks, Phil and I went shopping together - I bought some undies for him and he got some garter belts, stockings and some slips for me.

Now, every morning after our showers, before getting dressed, I'm wearing a full slip and DH is wearing a soft, snug, cotton crew neck t shirt type undershirt and snug white boxer briefs. Makes breafast time Oh so enjoyable for both of us! :)
