This RPG is based on the manga Naruto. I must caution you that there are some spoilers in it for back story, but its mainly mixed with AU, so if you are not familiar with Naruto or haven’t gone to far with the anime or manga, you can still play.


~*~<=Way of the Ninja =>~*~

Orgins:

In the beginning there were two clans, Senju and Uchiha. The Senju were led by Senju Hashirama. The Uchiha leader were led by Uchiha Madara. Both men along with their clans were mortal enemies and war was never ending. Then one day the Senchu leader asked for a truce between the two clans. The offering was to join together and form a hidden ninja village for the Fire country.

A truce was finally accepted, and the Village Hidden in the Leaves was formed. Senchu, Hashirama became the First Hokage, leader of all of Konaha. Uchiha, Madara and the rest of his clan became the security force. To Madara this was not enough and he felt that the elders and Senchu clan had deceived the Uchiha clan. He also felt that it was he who should have became Hokage. The rest of the Uchiha clan were tired of war and were content with their role in Hidden Leaf.

Abandoned and alone, Uchiha Madara battled for his beliefs by fighting the First Hokage. He was defeated and thought dead. He would later attack again with the power of the Sharingan which controls the Nine Tail Fox. The Fourth Hokage was able to stop the Nine Tail Fox by sealing it in to his own son, though he lost his life in doing so.

Five years later the tragedy would hit the Uchiha clan. Uchiha Itachi along with the reemergence of Madara killed off the entire Uchiha Clan with the exception of Uchiha Sasuke.

Destruction of Konoha would come again 12 years later with Uchiha Madara. He partnered himself with none other than clan member Uchiha Sasuke. Together they took revenge on Konoha.

Though they teamed up it was a reluctant partnership on account of Sasuke. His only goal was to kill the Elders for what he felt were their part in the killing of the Uchiha Clan. Madara, on the other hand wanted complete revenge.

Sasuke killed the elders but turned on Madara afterwards. With the help of Uzumaki Naruto and the rest of the Leaf Ninja they were able to kill Madara. In the end Sauke went to prison for war crimes against Konoha. He served his time, then when he got out he set out on his goal to restore his clan.

The war left Konoha devastated, but the people of the Leaf village took it upon themselves to rebuild. It was hard for they had suffered huge losses. The Fifth Hokage lost her life along with many other ninja. Hatake Kakashi became the Sixth Hokage.


Present Day:

Many years have passed and the village is still being rebuilt. The Sixth Hokage has retired and the Seventh Hokage has just been named. Uzumaki Naruto finally reached his goal being named the Seventh Hokage.

The village is in time of peace, but vulnerable, for the Hokage it means that the Leaf Village can not be complacent. They need to build up its ranks to show that they are indeed still powerful. The building of a new Ninja Academy has just finished and is awaiting to open its doors for the first time.

Somewhere in the distance within the forests, a shadow emerges. Cloaked and masked a dark figure looks on, then out of nowhere is gone.

This RPG will start out with the academy where you work your way up to higher ranks. I would like most players to be academy students. Chuunin and Jounin are still needed as well. Only the best sheets will be considered higher ranks. I will play the Seventh Hokage.




Ranks:

Hokage/Kage:

The village Kage is the strongest ninja in the hidden village. The Kage serves as the pillar upon which the village stands and the strength a village presents to the other ninja countries largely depends upon the strength of the Kage in power. They have excellent chakra and stamina and know the most jutsu techniques.

May have four elements and six element related jutsus to each element. May have all basic jutsu skills and Academy Jutsu skills.


Jounin:

The Jounin are ninja who are highly skilled in Jutsu skills and arts. Ninja attain the rank of Jounin through official appointment. The Jounin generally serve as squad commander for mission operations.

May have up to three elements, four element related jutsus for each element. May have all basic jutsu skills and Academy Jutsu skills.


Chuunin:

The Chuunin is the basic journeyman ninja of the village. These ninja can become field doctors or teachers. They were formerly Genin who were promoted for displaying excellent intelligence, strategy and combat skills in the Chuunin Exam. Chuunin have the equivalent rank of military captain, exhibiting strong stamina, knowledge and inner wisdom.

May have up to two elements, three element related Jutsus for each element. May have three basic jutsu skills with no blood limit or two basic jutsu skills with a blood limit. May have all Academy Jutsu skills.

Genin:

Genin are the lowest of ninja skill levels. They possess a knowledge of all the basic ninja skills and will do lower C & D rank missions with their Jounin sensei. Once the Genin has successfully undertaken eight missions, they can be sponsored by their Jounin sensei for the Chuunin Exam.

May have one element with two element related jutsu. May have two basic jutsu skills with no blood limit or may have one basic jutsu skill with a blood limit. May have all Academy jutsu skills

Academy Student:

Ninja Academy students are taught the basic jutsu skills. Once they have mastered the needed skills, they are able to graduate and become actual ninja. However if the new Genin do not impress their Jounin sensei, they can be sent back to the Academy for further training.

May learn two basic jutsu skills or subsitute a jutsu skill with a Kekkei Genkai. Academy Jutsu skills are the basic transformation techniques, body replacement technique, rope tie etc.


*******ELEMENTS*******

Fire Element - takes the form of fire and flame attacks. These can be fire balls or extended flame throwing.

Wind Element - takes the form of wind based attacks. These can be huge gusts or sustained wind storms.

Lightning Element - takes the form of electrical and lightning based attacks.

Earth Element - takes the form of earth and mud based attacks. These can be walls made from mud or the ninja maneuvering himself below ground to attack his opponent from below.

Water Element - takes the form of water based attacks. These can be walls of water used as shields or water formed into large striking jets.

Ninjutsu - "Ninja Techniques" Unlike genjutsu, which makes the opponent see illusions, the effects of ninjutsu are quite real. Ninjutsu relies on chakra and, most of the time, hand seals (each hand seal showing a different animal in the chinese zodiac) to be effective. The hands are put in sequential positions that mold chakra in the necessary manner to perform a jutsu. *Basic jutsu skill*

Genjutsu techniques - are the illusion techniques of a ninja, they normally require hand seals. Genjutsu will use hypnotism to cause hallucinations in others. By causing such illusions they can cause their target mental pain and suffering just as real as physical hurt. *Basic jutsu skill*

Taijutsu techniques are the body and hand to hand skills of the ninja. Taijutsu techniques do not require hand seals. Instead the ninja will train their body in different forms of fighting. A ninja can also use their inherent Bloodline abilities when doing Taijutsu techniques. *Basic jutsu skill*

Kekkei Genkai "Bloodline Limit" - are abilities passed down genetically in specific clans. Most clans have developed special jutsu related to their kekkei genkai and their related jutsu cannot be taught or copied by others, as they require the specific genetic trait to work. Kekkei genkai abilities that work via the user's eye are called "pupil, or ocular, techniques *not a basic jutsu skill, can be substituted for a basic jutsu skill*

All jutsu skills will be taught but if your character for example has no element like Rock Lee then other jutsu skills other than Taijutsu will not work. Also basic ninja techniques like body replacement and etc are not included in the the jutsu limit for each rank. This will be added bonus skills that all ninja will or should know.

*Note: Academy students will start with no jutsu. They will learn the in the academy Those with Kekkei Genkai will develop it in the academy as well. higher ranks with Jutsus must use jutsu from the list on the Wiki that i have linked. Only Chuunin rank and higher may create own jutsu. Only Jounin may create three original Jutsu only. Chuunin may create one jutsu only. By doing this it helps to maintain any god modding.*
