I looked up the Japanese's name "Haya" meaning "quick, light" so I think ill go with that. It seems to fit her.

Only problem I see with this name is some people may "hiya!" when they see it. But not a big deal, seems to fit nicely.

I forgot to give you this one when I sent you all the other sprites. It's a forward jump, If it looks a little lousy in game, then we can just stick to the normal jump.

I got the new sprites. Going to need a lot more before she can go in, but I think we're off to an alright start. I think I'll send you Aroon and Jiro's standing and crouching stances so you can do turning animations for them, because you seem a lot better at it than I am.

Sure, I drew up her portrait, I don't know how well you are with photoshop so if you want ill color it and then you can pixelize it or whatever you do with that.

Portrait looks good, except her face and elbow seem a little off for some reason.

I'm doing 2 more sprites for the jumping attack, then i intend to make 1 special projectile where she shoots up some dirt at the enemy, then Ill finish with that throw.

I know her front elbow is way big but for some odd reason I like the distortion on that portrait . After the animations are done Ill make the in game portrait along with coloring the portrait above.

When im done ill send you everything in a file like I did before, with each attack assigned.

Typically I didn't want her to have some kind of elemental projectile like Jiro or Aroon. Maybe I could do something like she throws a spike for a projectile.

I don't know....

We never agreed completely on your move list, I said I "could" do most of them even though I had a alot of animations previously in mind, so I took yours as suggestions. After I send you the file you can do whatever you please with the sprites.

The movelist was from a gameplay perspective. It gives her a completely different strategy and playstyle than say someone like Aroon.

But I get what you're saying, I'll wait.

I finished the last 2 jumping attack animations, now comes the hard part with the throw and projectile.

Both the translation of her name and the rocker aspect could add to the concept of a "sonic boom" character by literally making her attacks either sound or wind based. Possibly give her a move name like Gust Thrash, Breeze Dart, or even Jam Disc to try to emphasize both aspects of her character.

Like I told you in PM, its a concept I didn't completely think of for her. Had the idea down for Jiro though so it totally works.

And I wouldn't mind seeing some of your concepts you had, over in the concept topic.
