Welcome to the board. This post will be a constantly updated list of rules and conventions we observe on the board. Admins and Mods, please feel free to edit this post to add as appropriate.
1. Inside the Bald Head threads are started only by Sully, although anyone may Reply. Don't ask why; it's vestigial, like your tail. 2. There's a thread in Other Stuff for politics. Other than historical analysis, let's try to keep the political stuff there. And even there, let's be civil; it's OK to state opinions, but this is a hot-button topic, so try to tone it down a bit. We can get nasty about Sox-Yanks, but not Barack-Bush. 3. Try to keep it somewhat genteel. The guidelines for swearing are kind of like South Park's; specifically, we keep away from the proverbial f-word as much as possible, and any compound words involving mothers or sucking also are less than optimal. 4. Little censorship goes on here. That's largely because members tend to be considerate when they post. Racial, religious, or ethnic invective will be deleted. -------------------- "Who the hell is Tonic?"

5. It is considered good form -- on any board, not just this one -- to read through recent posts before posting oneself. This avoids the awkwardness of posting something as if it were news when it already is being/has been discussed.
