I agree with both of you. We should definitely trade Rondo.
Hawks haven't had balls for 25 years. Nothing has changed. Loved Joe Johnson trying to bank a straightaway 25 footer down 5. After Josh Smith just walked off the court. The 4th quarter defense was excellent. Teague's crap stopped falling. Gritty, gutty win. -------------------- Asked about Rodriguez's reaction to the injury -- he writhed in obvious pain for nearly five minutes before being led off the field -- Jeter said, "He always acts like that when he gets hit."

I swear there were 6 possessions in a row where Avery either spectacularly blocked a shot or poked it away from someone. Awesome stuff.. and Pietrus's D on Johnson down the stretch.. awwwww yeaaaahhh How bout Marquis getting minutes? He lives! -------------------- Fire Smo!

haha oops -------------------- Mel's newest 5/16/12 - I'd kibosh Pierce for the 2 games in Philly and hope the week off helps him for Game 5.
QUOTE (Mel Hall @ Dec 18 2011, 08:01 PM) Smo, can I fire Coughlin NOW?? Slomo - Dec 19 2011 - I would say absolutely but you know they are going to win their last two games to mess with you. |

loved Josh Smith walking off. and loved some of the shots the Hawks were taking. Three things 1. PP was great in the beginning and the end. I fully stand behind my 3rd qtr rant. He was doo doo for a while. 2. So glad Avery Bradley didn't let that first game drop his confidence. really showed me something. I remember Landry Fields for the Knicks getting progressively worse last year against the C's and by the end of that series he was no better then Mac is now. 3. Refs. After the first 5 minutes I was ready for another long night Those three fouls on Pietrus were garbage. The first foul on Avery. Just terrible. Then they just buried the whistle and it really favored the C's and got ATL off their game. A couple of more. Glad Doc went with QUis. Not sure why he buried him so much this year. Regardless Doc is going to have to recognize which guys on his bench have it because none of them are consistent. I won't be surprised if Sean Williams has a moment or two if this run lasts a few rounds. Their rebounding was great. Really got after the defensive boards. Doc has always said PP has great games when he rebounds. 14 boards. Great game. Yes. Awesome win. I hope Ray can get on the floor on Friday. Rondo you better be the Rondo of March and April. -------------------- Mel's newest 5/16/12 - I'd kibosh Pierce for the 2 games in Philly and hope the week off helps him for Game 5.
