Sorry Mel but the same thing happened to the Pats at the goal line, no looking back slap the ball and no penalty. it id frustrating and foolish.
Eli is playing well and has been fortunate, the two seem to go together. like the Victor Cruz touchdown a few weeks ago thrown into double coverage.
Eli best season will be an average Brady season...

RIP Smokin Joe Frazier. Ali was a boxer Joe was a fighter....

You say fortunate like it's some kind of criticism..

Brady is fortunate that Welker gets open all the time.. SLAM!

Did you see him flinch like Tony Eason a couple times in the first half?

Don't think just because no one works here anymore you can get away with this comment.

I demand a retraction

Can I keep the Matt Light comment?

after speaking to mac we say you can.

Mel's newest 5/16/12 - I'd kibosh Pierce for the 2 games in Philly and hope the week off helps him for Game 5.

Smo, can I fire Coughlin NOW??

Slomo - Dec 19 2011 - I would say absolutely but you know they are going to win their last two games to mess with you.

I, Mel Hall, take back my statement that Tom Brady was "flinchy" at time vs. the NY Football Giants..

Look Brady was fortunate last year, he was great but you don’t go 36 TD and 4 Int without some luck.
There were more than a few dropped interceptions. That said it evens out and this year he has had at least 4 interceptions that bounced of hands or helmets. Last year not really any. I have already seen Eli throw it up into double coverage to Victor Cruz twice and it bounced off people and he4 caught it. Hence fortunate. Eli is having a great year and yet 15 TD 6 Int 2377 yards and 63% completion, Brady’s off year 20 TD 10 Int 2703 yards 66% completion.
If the Sox hire Lamont I may have to quit them cold turkey…
Hey Ben sign Paplebon will ya!!

The Penn State thing had now turned as people are saying how sad this had to happen to Paterno. No it is sad what happened to those kids. It is sad that he knew, the administration knew and nothing was done for 9 years at least. They all need to be fired and fired now.

Come on Bob.. I say Eli's having a great year and you get all defensive and throw Brady's stats at us..

Of course Brady's better.. Happy Pappy?

Pats could use a Victor Cruz right about now

Asked about Rodriguez's reaction to the injury -- he writhed in obvious pain for nearly five minutes before being led off the field -- Jeter said, "He always acts like that when he gets hit."

Paterno learned the hard way. Football is not the most important thing in life. Even at Penn State.

After reading a lot about the whole Penn State fiasco, including TN’s rational thoughts I must say that the Paterno people just don’t get it. It doesn’t matter that he committed no crime, although that is not necessarily true, he had a moral obligation to help make sure it did not ever happen again. The football program is not more important than young people’s lives. Do not call yourself a teacher of young men as he has forever and then turn a blind eye to the horrific things Sandusky did. One time should have been enough to banish him form the program, the campus and report him to the authorities. The whole idea that Paterno did not deserve to go out like this is moronic, did the kid in the shower 9 years ago and all the kids since deserve what happened to them?
