INTRO AND RULES---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello all! Jaxxy here ~ none of you probably knew I was even alive until this epic second, but oh well…that’s what I get for being so inactive. I guess this idea was started without me a while ago but due to poor planning, I’m hijacking it.
The Sheezy Art Watch Club is trying to plan a project called Comix Jam which involves anyone in the watch club (or just anyone) willing to participate in an ongoing comic. So here’s the thing; one of you will be chosen (probably contacted via sheezy note) to complete a minimum of 4 panels in the comic. This is so we don’t have people who want to just draw a random picture and submit it as a strip. There’s no limit on how many panels you want to do, and you’re welcome to alter them too – however, just try to keep within the set size boundaries. You will have up to ONE WEEK to complete the strip and submit to the club and me – Jaxxy. You MUST retain elements from the previous comic before you and attempt to keep with the story…if there even is one. Other than that, it's all up to you. Go nuts! No color, just black and white here. Full credit will be given to the artist for his or her strip, along with your account name, alias, website, and any other info you want to throw in there.
So in a nutshell, I need;
- Your name
- Your main account name
- Your real name (optional)
- Your website (if blank, then it'll automatically be your sheezy page)
- Your Comix Strip (minimum of 4 panels, unlimited maximum)
You have 1 week to complete your strip
***Black and white only
*Remember; Stick with the story and have fun with it!
*Stick to general Sheezy and Watch Club TOS please - No hateful comments, jokes, slander against others, pornography, or stolen artwork…you get the idea.
I'll post a list of participants in order from this blog and keep adding to it for anyone interested in joining later. We'll go by the list week after week, so anyone who wants to drop out or push themselves back to a later date is welcomed to do so - just let me know. You MUST RESPOND when your time comes around and I contact you! If you do not respond, I'll assume you’re either inactive, dropping out of the event, or plotting to overthrow the government.
When the comic is finished sometime either by the end of the summer or later, and everything goes according to plan, I'm going to put all the comic strips together and make a book (probably through Blurb) available for anyone to buy.
