LENNIE BUFF IN HIS CHEVROLET BERETTA WILL BE MATCH RACING CLETUS CROFT IN HIS CHEVROLET CAMARO. THIS SHOULD BE A GOOD RACE

Why two chevrolet, It would be more interesting for a chevy and ford to match race. you do have just as many ford fans.

The biggest reason they have to Chevy's match racing is due to the fact there are only a couple of Ford powered cars that are local around here.

the two chevys that are match racing are tube chassie cars. i don't know of any local fords that are tube chassie that they could get to match race. the local fords that i know of are backhalf cars and weigh much more than these tube cars.

So who won the match race. And what were the times??

the match race didn't happen. both of them were there and made single runs and couldn't get their cars to handle. it was so hot that i guess they just got disgusted and gave up on the match race. besides there was a car that blew up on the starting line in the right lane and coasted all the way to the end instead of stopping and pulling over like any good racer would do and you know what a mess that made on the track. ronnie worked and worked on the right lane trying to get it back to hooking and it finally came around after the track cooled off.

it's odd that you ask that i have been working on my car a good bit lately all i have left to do is get the drive shaft made and I'm taking it 2Moro.. then it goes down to Steve Kirk for some gear changes and wiring in the new Bruno then a little testing and I'll be ready to ware me out a certain blue mustang...so yes Stacy I'll be glad to match race you by the time i get it done the weather will be cooler for sure. so I'm thinking sometime in September...so now get that blue oval ready and lets put on a show for the shadyside fans!!!

yep anybody can make a lite car go fast...but you can get in on some of the fun Todd but you will have to add the weight to play with us... 2800 min. and don't start crying cause that's the way it is NO EXEPTIONS!!!! so get in or get out!!

hurry up steve lol.. september is a long time away. i was wanting to do something a little quicker than that. im not sure about you wearing anybody out either.. guess time will tell lol. all i can tell you is that you better bring your A game and be ready to chop that tree down cause if old blue gets out in front of you i dont think that chevy can come around me .

todd, find you a partner to race on the same date as steve & I and maybe the two winners could run for the last man standing or something. if not maybe you & i could do something while im waiting on steve to get ready. i havent got to race much this year and really looking forward to making a few passes. i do agree with steve on the weight deal though. let me know

i'm working my tail off on this thing but i did crank it tonight and i'm getting my drive shaft back 2moro so i hope to have it at Steve Kirks this weekend so i think i will be ready B4 september..this new trans is going to take some getting use to..so i am told!!

we might have something for you to run against...not sure if we can hang but it will a different race no one around her has seen before...that would make a good show steve vs stacy and rimz one vs a bright yellow pickup truck...and we will be around the 2700-2800 pounds also...it will have to be on a saturday cause the preacher dont take the cars out on sunday..ill talk it over with pops today...

But just like Steve we are almost done with it so September would be a great time
