I'm thinkin about putting a set of drag radials on the neon, but idk what brand to go with. I want some that are gonna HELP, not eliminate, wheelspin off the line. I know it's got alot to do with "driving style", but you can't cut a good light leaving at idle lol. They need to hook pretty good once warmed up, and do good on the streets as an everyday tire.

I don't want a set that are gonna be worn out after 1500-2000 miles, because changing tires more often than oil just don't make sense lol. I know with the abuse of racing, plus everyday driving, their not gonna last like normal street tires will, but 1500 miles a set would just SUCK!!

Please give some input based on prior experience, or from ppl u know that have used them.

Thanks in advance guys!

Nitto 555's would probably work good for you. They hook up good with some heat in them.and their a really good street tire. Hope this helps.

You talking about 555R Drag Radials, right?

Just to clarify you are not talking about regular 555 radials.

I have a set of the 555R Drag Radials (275/45/17), they wear well as compared to the BFG's I had (255/50/16) but the BFG's were hookers.

You have to put a little heat into them to get them to hook well, but you said you wanted help not hook, right?
