I bought a small block and was told it was a 350.
It is a 0010 block.
On the back right side of the block it says "3970010"

on the front pad (left side) it has "V0328TMK" also on this pad it has T4U513317
i know that the 513317 on the last code is the last 6 #'s of the vin # of the manufactured truck it was placed in.

as far as my research goes i think this is what it is....

the V = flint (engine)
03= march
28= 28th day
T= truck
MK = (?) 1967 327 4 bbl 275 hp M/T

my question is about the suffix code is the suffux code MK or TMK?????

TMK = 1980 350

I am confused weather or not if it is a 1980 should it have a T for the truck and a T for the TMK if it is a TMK suffix?

ok what you have is an 80 model 350 from an c-30 truck or van you always go buy the last letters weather they be two or in your case three as for the date code on the rear the letter is the month second is the day and last being the yearif you will google (small block engine codes) it will bring up a sight that tells you all codes

ok on the second code we figured out what the problem was it is a 14v not a T4U

(brother-in-law cant read)

that is the vin code for the vehicle it was put in.

1= chevrolet
4= 1974
v= flint plant
513317= last 6 digits of vin number...


so i believe it is a 1974 350
I googled engine vin codes and found it. :D
