Chapter 1
"Another Day at the Dursleys"

As you may already know, Harry is done seeking revenge from he-who-mustn’t-be-named. Meanwhile, he is stuck at the Dursley house, this time more banished than ever. No escaping now. He has been moved from his usual cupboard room to the upstairs attic, sleeping on the wooded floors, possible of gaining diseases from the creatures that reside there. The door nailed shut, along with wood boards covering underneath the nails. It was as if he was Cinderella, a Muggle fantasy character from a child’s book. The only thing keeping a light in the attic was his wand. Mr. Dursley figured that if Harry didn’t care about breaking the Decree of Underage Wizardry code, he could use magic for any electrical things that he possibly needed, “a percentage away from the bills” as Mr. Dursley would say.
Harry truly missed Hermione and Ron, and even Draco a bit. He wished that he could stay at Hogwarts forever, just to keep away from his aunt and uncle, but he knew that this wish couldn’t be granted. Harry had already served his maximum seven terms, and he was not allowed back at the school for learning. Oh how he had missed all of the excitement and adventure of classes, especially Defense Against the Dark Arts, and his wonderful teachers Professor Minerva McGonagall, Professor Remus J. Lupin, Professor Sprout, and even Professor Severus Snape, but most of all, Hagrid and Headmaster Professor Albus Dumbledore of course.
As since he was now 18-years old, it was basically the time for Harry to move out and head for Wizards’ College, that is if he ever was allowed to and had permission from his Uncle Vernon. Aunt Petunia really didn’t care where Harry went, as long as he didn’t make any trouble.
Sitting quietly in his new room, Harry fiddled with his wand, continuously chanting his Lumos spell to gain light for the attic, just like he had to read a parchment at his house five years ago. This year, Harry knew that he had certainly gained more strength and confidence in himself, learned and advanced in his previous and new spells, and had become more greater than his arch nemesis and rival, Draco Malfoy.
As soon as he caught the light on the tip of his wand and it stayed, Harry’s Uncle Vernon came up to his room as soon as he sensed the magic.
“Boy, what have I told you about using lights for your new room?” he exclaimed.
“You aren’t my father,” Harry replied smartly. “You will no longer tell me what I can and cannot do.”
The Dursley stared at Harry in amazement and in anger, his cheeks now growing as red as a batch full of homemade apples. “Petunia!” Uncle Vernon yelled as she and Dudley quickly dashed up to the scene.
“Yes dear?” she said in worry, looking at Harry as if he had accidentally blown up his Aunt Marge again. “What do you need?”
“This ingrate has decided that he doesn’t want to follow our orders anymore, He said he’ll rather stay with those disgusting creatures back at his school….” Uncle Vernon then paused, realizing that Harry couldn’t go there anymore because he has served his maximum seven terms there.
“Creatures?” Harry replied with emphasis on the word.
Mr. Dursley then started again. “…Oh, I forgot. Potter can’t go there anymore, so he’s decided to move out.”
Harry’s face then looked rather shocked and pale as he stared into the eyes of Uncle Vernon, then looking over at Aunt Petunia and Dudley. “You liar! I never said that.”
Mrs. Dursley looked in wonder as she suddenly took a look at her husband, most likely believing him the most. Out of nowhere, their son Dudley then took the stand.
“Harry, I always knew you were full of stupidity, just like your warlock father…”
Approaching his maximum level of madness, Harry then quenched his fists together and glared at the boy with an evil-like posture. “He is not a warlock. You stay out of this.” He then stuttered up another statement. “Don’t make me turn you in to a balloon just like your Muggle aunt.”
Dudley then ran as Mrs. Dursley walked up to Harry. “I know what that means. And if I am correct, your mother is a Muggle, just as well.”
His face went blank. It was barely true. Lilly wasn’t fully a Muggle, but she was Muggle-born, that way making her half Muggle. After the insult Harry just gave to his cousin, he realized that his Aunt Petunia had finally come from “under-the-sheets” and finally spoke out about something.
“I don’t know why I deal with this.” Harry proclaimed.
“Then don’t.” Mr. Dudley said to him. “You can leave our house.”
Mrs. Dudley felt kind of guilty of what she had said after Mr. Dursley had given the word. Harry was finally moving.
Wow, what a relief, Harry suddenly thought. But just a minute later, Harry then realized something: Where would he go? Who would he stay with? How would he support himself? But it was too late. Not taking back his word, Uncle Vernon quickly commanded Petunia to gather up all of Harry’s things and pack them up.
“Well, he would have to leave sometime, right?” Dudley asked while walking back in.
“Soon, you will have to just as well, son.” Mrs. Dursley obliged.
Within an hour, all of Harry’s things were packed and ready to move.
Meanwhile, Uncle Vernon threw his luggage out the door and escorted him out.
“And never come back,” Uncle Vernon stated.
“Fine,” Harry declared while walking out the door. “Goodbye.”

CHAPTER 2
"Where is the Knight Bus?"

Harry walked diligently out of the front door, greeting Aunt Petunia with a wave of farewell and Dudley with a light Rictozempra; as for Uncle Vernon, an irregular stare of the eye. Walking down the dark, lonely streets, Harry stared around in wonder as his teen self felt a tad bit younger and immature.
He then noticed a stop sign at the very end of the street, which he had stopped at and saw a wolf five years ago. “Hmm, the Knight Bus should be approaching soon.”
Amazingly, it zoomed down towards him and stopped at the corner. The door remained shut.
“Uh, Tom?” he questioned out towards the conductor. “It’s me, Harry Potter.”
He remained silent. Harry wondered defiantly why the conductor didn’t seem to look at him at all, as if he were mad and ignoring him of some sort.
Maybe it was the way he looked. It has been five years since Harry was first on the Knight Bus, and he only rode on it once. Or was it his age? Was he now too old to get a ride from it; did this mean that he could now legally Apparate and Disapparate?
He called for Tom again, still receiving the same reply, which was nothing. “Uh, Tom? Can you hear me?” No answer. Harry then decided to knock on the door to retrieve a slight greeting or reply.
Amazingly, something happened. As he banged against the doorway, his hand instantly ran straight through the glass. Wow, he thought. Have I become a Muggle? He quickly dropped that thought as it slinked out. What was the problem?
Looking again at the glass door, the Knight Bus then took off, leaving him at the end of Privet Drive. Harry looked over to the end of the driveways and spotted the park, the exact place at which Dudley and his gangster-like friends had always hanged out. It was located in Magnolia Crescent, halfway among which an alleyway seemed to have been dropped into the down side of a garage where he first spotted his godfather.
“Oh Sirius,” he grunted. “I swear that Fudge will pay.” Out of nowhere, someone appeared from down the alleyway.
“Greetings, Harry,” a familiar face obliged with a slight grin while walking out of the darkness of the shadows.
“Hello,” he answered while walking up towards the alleyway. “So, when’d you get here in Privet Drive, in the Muggle world?”
“I didn’t,” Remus answered. “’Had to ride the Knight Bus..”
Harry then wondered for a moment. Just a minute or two ago, the Knight Bus had left from where he was at and zoomed off. How could Lupin had have taken it unless he got off early. By why wouldn’t it drop him off at the Stop sign?
“Hmm…the Knight Bus just came by. It looked like it was just resting at the Stop sign down there…”
“Yeah…sometimes they wait for new students there. Remember that you were a student as well, Harry.” Lupin blinked lightly at him as he started to walk forward, leading Harry to follow him.
