I don't normally venture this far down the home page of this forum so have only just noticed this.

CONGRATULATIONS Kags. I am sure the book will be a huge success. I'm sure all the owners of salukis and salukixlurchers will buy it in force.

Who knows a film contract could be just around the corner too! Can you imagine Stella with her very own trailer and a body double for all her stunts

Anyway, I'm sure Flo would like a signed copy (by Stella of course). Though I am not sure if I would want her to read it

Oh thank you so much Stevie. I am not sure about the trailer and the body double, she is a big enough diva already! We are really close to going to print now, been edited and proof read and they are now putting into the layout it will appear in once it goes to print. I am so excited and can't wait to see it finished.

I am in the final leg in the production of my book. I have just spent 3 weeks working with the interior layout designer and have signed off the text file. The last stage is for my cover to be finalised (I have the front already) and a retail price to be assigned, this can take up to 2 weeks, then that is it we go to print! Wooooooooooooooot! I am really excited now!

Fantastic! I really can't wait to read it Kags. Reading Stellas antics on here, I often nod my head in empathy, she reminds me so much of Riley (even though he's male, he's a total diva too).

Hopefully not too long now, I am just dealing with the press department this week to get my press releases sorted out. I can hardly wait now! It is really exciting and I still keep chuckling to myself, as can't believe it is really happening! If someone had told me a few years ago I would be a published author, I would have died laughing, it is just amazing! Waiting on final cover to be produced, now that layout design for the interior has been completed and signed off and then it is all done! Press releases will be out and the book will go on sale!

Stevie, I think that Stella looks like that meercat off the adverts compare the meerkat and I think it would be hilarious if audio tapes were done by the voice on there. She probably has a deep voice like that too Seeing as Flo is being so norty of late, do you really want Stella encouraging her!

Thank you everyone for all your support I really appreciate it. Marie, I think all Salukis have an inner diva When I think how terrified and stressed Stella was in the early days ripping out her own fur, it actually makes me smile that she has blossomed into such a cheeky dog, although I fear she may be the death of me one of these days

No I am waiting for a print proof to be sent out but I think that postal strikes have held it up at the moment. I was waiting until the end of our week (Wednesday) and then I shall e mail them again and find out what the deal is. I am very hopeful that it will be soon, but I am sadly in the hands of the publishers. I am getting frustrated, as the book is finished now, just need to make sure there are no errors when it goes to print. As soon as I know I will post. Hopefully it will be sooooooooooon.
