Just read this book. Absolutely fabulous! Read her "House Lurcher" and liked her approach to training and living with lurchers.
This book is not a training manual but an insight into a dogs mind, and how it works. For those of us with sighthounds, and particularly salukis it is great. She makes distinctions between working dogs (task oriented) and hunting dogs (results oriented) and those of us with saluki types know about that only too well.
Jackie Drakeford is well known in the lurcher world and certainly knows her lurchers.
I found this book on Amazon kindle. I don't think its available as a conventional book.
Worth a look.
