lol how right were you. I've just come home from having my car valeted and she has chewed up one of the dog beds, there is fluff everywhere!

I've just placed an order for one of these now http://www.tuffies.co.uk/

I pray that she doesn't chew through it!

She is bred from Cruiseline on the dams side and the sire is actually from show lines, if you like I can take a photo of KC docs when I get them.

Oooo nice...and yes to the latter question if you wouldn't mind... biggrin.gif I know, I'm sad but all the different gentic lines and ancestry really fascinates me now. And I think nice to have a cross between working and show lines too- I think it helps both types to cross between and will only make them stronger. Both types have very separated breeding so it really helps with any over-bred lines. Sorry I'm being boring now tongue.gif

Oh forgot to say just to check when you say the dam cruiseline is that 'cruiseline in the money'? Just checking the full name as some of the working pedigree names can be similar to each other smile.gif I know of someone else on other forums with a lovely dog whose dam is 'cruiseline in the money' so was just wondering.

No it's not sad at all, I was quite pleased that the dam and sire were not closely related. Her mum's KC name is Night Cruiser and the sire is Abberann Haman at Clashann. Bailey's KC name is Cruiseline Hanacre Dawn which is quite cool as it has part of both parents names in there (Night/Dawn / Hana).

I'll post the full pedigree for you to have a nosey through once I get the docs, I only have a handwritten one at the moment!

Oh I thought those parents sounded familiar! I know of Abberann Haman at Clashann; and I was kind of right about that other saluki I was thinking about. They don't share the same dam but his sire also abberann haman- so they are brother and sister, just not in the way I was thinking. There are pictures of him on salukipreservation forum, he's called Chico, KC name Cruiseline in the money (same prefix as Bailey's) and his owner's username is cocker. And the names are familiar because I know of this litter as well, I saw them advertised and kind of know of the breeder- they sounded like a lovely litter, I wanted one wub.gif . Also two guys on salukipreservation have littermate dogs of Bailey's, one has just brought his home today and has pics of him- he's the spit of Bailey except a darker gold colour! You should take a look smile.gif

She really is just so beautiful, each time I look at her pictures she seems to get more elegant wub.gif I really hope you stick around so we can see her grow up smile.gif

I will thanks thats cool, I know the little gold pup too, he was really lovely there were two golden boys one with a little white on the nose and the other without. I actually said to her that I was surprised they hadn't gone yet !

I think I recognise the username Cocker, does he post on Thehuntinglife as well, I rarely post but I read a lot of forums and I went on there trying to find a breeder of pure Saluki and also to find out a bit more about the breeder I bought bailey from biggrin.gif

I'm gonna go see if I can find these photos now smile.gif

Ah, found the thread!

Yes that her brother all right, I recognise the markings. I have posted a reply (my username is sarahnya on there) and a pic of Bailey's half sister from a previous litter.
