Trespassing? No, just aimless wandering m'dear.

Edana laughed creating an eerie echo around the Cove. The Kadzait male had become highly amusing to her as her whole body shook with the force of her chuckles. "You think this is a tale? You are new to these lands for I can smell it on you, the essence of Kadzait is not strong. Of course you would not understand, you never will, but I am not trying to scare you. Even the oldest wolves of Sagnai, who have lived here all their lives, are skeptics of our past. Many centuries have passed since that time long ago, but it is to come again. This is the unfortunate curse of these lands placed upon us by the wolf gods and I do not take pleasure in telling you this. I had never had any intention to incite fear in the hearts of wolves. It is a warning to you, to all. No pack is safe, not even Kadzait who has remained neutral for so long." Edana sighed softly as she ended her speech and a pained look came across her gaze. She looked away from where she had heard Asuka speak and stared in the distance.

The feminine voice sounded again and Edana flicked her ears in the direction of the sound as her eyes focused on the source. She stood up suddenly taking a few steps back, shocked by the fem's appearance. Her gaze grazed over her form taking it all in with an unrealized horror. This was not the doing of a wolf she guessed, but humans. The fem must have spent some time among them.

"I'd sooner wither away into exhaustion, madame. There is no poin. Why should I further alienate myself?" His patience had already worn thin and, had it not, he would have paid far more attention to the oddity of a female before him. Indeed, what had been done to her had to have been the work of humans, for there was no way she could have been born as she was.-That just wasn't normal.

His lips edged up in a snarl at Edana's cackling, the molten hue of his eyes glowering as his fur pirckling in annoyance. "Warning? Save your warnings for those who bother to care. I honestly don't know from what wretched den you crawled out from, but were not you taught manners? Gods, learn some form of respect! Now wonder the packs are failing; you cannot understand one another."

[Edana]

Edana sighed shaking her head as Asuka spoke. He would never understand until things were exploding around him. "You further insult me and hide away like a coward, just like you shrink away from what I tell you. If you do not wish to believe me, I do not care." She shook her head again and stared in the direction of his voice her eyes glowing. "You dare to speak of manners when you are the one who so clearly stands on another packs land and throws insults at their Queen! If you yourself had manners you would not be doing the things you do." Edana snapped at him her anger building up inside of her. This wolf had incredible cheek for his current stance.

Edana glanced once more at the fem this time able to pick up her scent. She inhaled and exhaled slowly for a while almost as if she were lost in thought. "So you too are in the habit of trespassing? Is this what Kadzait wolves are taught from birth?!"

Rosalin Bombazine frown further, drawing out the negative facial features plastered onto white fur and poking bones. How that female stared so! Very rude, although Diggs herself had been quite a bit rude seeing as she had intruded. It was not out of character to find the queer thing behaving as a hypocrite though. Diggs was thoroughly disappointed in the performances splayed out before her. It was just words being thrown about, barely any movement, and drug about by a coward. It would be wise to leave to another peaceful spot, perhaps by the willows in Kadzait? How magnificent it was at night, when the luminescent bugs would flitter about, as lovers waltzed by the trickling waters. Diggs smiled, a bit, her mind pulled away to a better place. Maybe, just maybe at night fall she would go there. It was Edana's words that called her back.

"To the Kadzait Pack I was never born. Forgive me?"

It was no use snapping back and forth. There were better places to be then this Cove, better company to have. The female pulled her body from the sand into a sitting position, in case she should need to flee. Out of respect, she lowered her ears a tad, her tail, and her posture fell into a slope.

"As for you..."

She grinned as her eyes drifted to her right (where she assumed the male was), skyward where the wind blew away from the water. In the slight gusts her baubles clashed like wind chimes, her artificially colored fur blowing along as well. Diggy never did finish her words, only smiling off to the right, her ideas and logic lost in the wind.

"I own my alliance to myself above my homeland. You've forgotten the essance of self in your fruitless ventures and senseless tirades. And if you would care to think back, you'll discover that you are your own source for any trial you've experienced today. Why not leave as is? Cannot something be merely of an unthreatening nature? Not every wolf you cross paths with will wish you ill, though you seem encourage it. Take it to heart, if nothing more, the question: 'Is nothing worth everything anymore?'"

The ebony male sighed, far too tired of beating a dead dog, so to speak. She would never understand; she was not born to think but to act. A shame, because the mind could perform some pretty amazing things when given the chance...His paws touching the ground, he padded directly through her, a moment of ice passing from one body to the next before it vanished when he was on the other side. He would take his leave, now. He had glimpsed into the lives of another this area had to offer and what he saw, he was determined to change.

[Edana]

Edana's eyes narrowed as she listened to the wolf just briefly. "I did not force you to throw insults at me as much as you did not force me to react with aggression. We all choose our paths and clearly ours is not one of friendship. I asked you to leave and you, who had already broken the bounds of politeness, refused."

She felt a coldness brush through her and then it was gone. The cold stimulated the fire inside of her and it burned a little warmer as she gave off little waves of heat to the things around her. With a clearly exhausted expression on her face she turned her gaze once more to the other fem. "No, I was not referring to you, but talking in a manner of speaking and I'd ask you to 'kindly leave' as well, but perhaps I should be rude instead and maybe then I'll get the right response?"

Diggs merely continued on with her stead-fast grin. It was true, the scene had become far too bitter for her taste and she would leave this stage promptly. The female held for a moment, the booming echoes of Asuka while her ears savored the snaps (from exhaustion of course) that beat through Edana's own vocals. They were at least, consistent. It was then that her mind was set. Asuka had gone, and even if he were here, she doubted he would protect a fellow pack mate. He seemed to be better suited for the life of a loner. It would be best to leave, before anything more was spoiled.

"I don't believe that is necessary. I hope though, that should I leave this place, which I assure you I am to do so, could I leave it on good terms, then? This is the last time this Kadzait will intrude, without request."

Bombazine gathered herself to her feet, ready to exit the Anana Lands. Her left ear twitched, hoping for a sound or too to call her to a new location. Maybe to hear a clash, a clatter, or shouting voice? Nothing sounded, but the wind through the trees. It seemed then that it would just be "aimless wandering" back to a safer land.

Edana sighed softly as she watched the fem. She appreciated her much more than Asuka and almost enjoyed her presence, even though she was from another pack. "Yes, you will, and thank you." Edana nodded her head in the fem's direction as she reclined to her haunches again. Her gaze retreated from her and drifted to the lake.

The waves brought the lake water steadily lapping at the shore and Edana watched it with some interest. After a moment she breathed slowly and stepped forward until her paws were in the water. The coolness seeped into her fur and she welcomed it. Her paws carried her further and further until she had to paddle around to stay a float. She let her body dive beneath the water and a second later she emerged a ways away from where she had been. She let herself float for a while her gaze lazily watching the shores.

Diggs nodded to Edana, relieved that she could leave without a name now tainted. Pleased with the response given, Diggs let the peaceful cover of invisibility slip over her form once more. Back to Kadzait lands, it seemed she was headed. There their lied a place almost equal in beauty to that of the Cove. Here she would seek solace and possible, an entertaining crowd.
