The thought that he had long since crossed over his homeland's borders was a thought stuffed far back into the crevices of his mind, himself giving no more than a flicker of attention. What did it matter if he was tressespassing? Surely he would be able to defend himself from any who dared to oppose him, should he even encounter someone, that is. But then, what were the chances of him not running into someone when his scent ran rampant among the winds, carrying his musky, unique mix of indescribable somethings to every sniffing nose far and wide? Barely worth bothering over; it was a certainty.
Heaving his bulky frame up and onto the leaning trunk of an aged willow tree, he marveled at the surrounding area, allowing himself this peace. But peace only lasted for so long, and he, better than any, knew that well enough. Away from such trials, though, he could enjoy this. He could realve in the harmony gifted to his thirsy soul. He could admire the life around him; the tree and its beautifully adorned branches dipping into the crystal waters below, creating faint ripples when the wind decided to whisk across the surface of the lake. It was far too surreal. He did not deserve this moment's respite. He never would.
Yet that would never stop him from charging forward, anyway. A life for a life, and a soul for a soul. Both his had been stripped from him, and he could not let his chance at rebirth slip through his claws when everything rode of him surviving.

Asuka did not even bother to lift his skull in acknowledgement, and merely flicked his right ear as a sign he was listening. A bold refusal, but nothing too harsh for the lady attempting to rile him and send him packing. Regardless of her rank, he would not simply stand to be rooted out of a place he had come to enjoy...mildly, at least. "Intruding? Ah, such a foul word. I am merely wandering about, m'dear, and you had the misfortune to come across me. My apologies for the intrusion of which you speak, but I feel it wrong to limit one's self. Would not you feel the same had your life been shattered into peices too tiny and innumerable to count?"
A sigh wandered past his maw, the golden pools of his eyes staring aimlessly to the sweet depths of the cooling water below. What a fine day, and it would be such a shame to ruin it in his den mulling over this and that. Such fickle details mattered not for the while. Life was far too precious to let it slid by every waking moment of the day. You had to set aside time for yourself every now and then.

It was with light feet that Rosalin Bombazine Digoxin traveled on that oh-so-bright and cheery day. How pleasant to be free, bound by nothing and absolutely no one. Not a single fetter to drag your body down, to drown you in a world of constant pressure. No, this female was free, free she said! Well, at least she said she was. It was by a lake that she now pranced, only her dainty paw prints visible. You see, Diggy (as they called her) or Diggs if you prefer, had the power to become invisible to those around her visually and also scent wise. For this reason she had no fear of the gentle and comforting gusts that accompanied the lake's presence. The only sign of her existence was perhaps the clatter of her jewelry. She wore three necklaces today, one metal, and the other two a cheap gelly material. They clashed together with each leap she made, and each landing resulted in the kicking up of shore sand. Her prints traveled along a distance of a few yards, sometimes disappearing into the mouth of the lake. It was with one particularly large bound, that she found herself a foot deep in the water. Diggs' first instinct was to reel back, for she was quite the germ-o-phob. That lake water was filled disguisting who knows what and who knows who had been in there! But it was something peculiar that caught her attention. Staring back at her, was her reflection! Pink, maroon, and orange bangs with side bangs, and an erect yellow and green mane accompanied a slender face, pierced many times over. Today she wore a black bow, and above the bow Digoxin's left ear flickered about. What was that? The sound of voices, near by and ignored up until this point, met her almost ridiculously large ears. Who could it be? She waited to lift her power, making sure the scene was safe, remaining hidden.

"My, my, you do have a perfectly awful temper." The slow pivot of his golden orbs in their sockets betrayed Asuka's inner annoyance and disdain at being requested to leave. Even though he could very well understand her displeasure at his presence in her lands, that did not excuse the attitude, in his opinion. Was it not an old saying one mother bestowed upon their young pups that, 'to make a friend you must be one?' But this female was nothing in the ways of friendly, and he could only discover faintly as to that exact bitterness through the windows of her eyes. He always had been a fair judge of character, but she...well, plainly said, she beffuddled him. It was surely anger he saw reflected in the shinning surfaces, but another, more pained edged emotion rimmed the beautifully hued optics. He blinked to clear the troublesome thoughts aside.
Bringing his frame from the willow tree, he hoped down to greet her, the now sheer size he had on her a rather daunting factor, for the poor female was rather frail looking in her thinness. Such a pity. Beauty should never be spoiled. His eyes narrowed, as if judging her to be nothing more than a common stray from the human lands. But when he spoke, his voice consisted of nothing along the lines of condescending, and one would think. No, he was perfectly, dangerously, and-the spirits help her-undoubtedly neutral: void: lifelessly disconnected. It was a tone a he grown so accustomed to, it was his commonplace voice, and only the rare flashes of other emotions could put the emptiness to rest.
"Anana, watch yourself. You do not need to make another enemy for yourself and your pack. Hanging by a thread as it is, one wrong move could plummit you and your fold into starvation and death. Watch what you say when you barely lack the energy to feed yourself, let alone defend a land as vast as it is unruly." His eyes held hers for only the briefest instant before, just as the wind whipped across the lake, he had vanished: gone without a trace.

Phantomine looked up into the sky for about a second then turned his gaze towards the Anana pack's terratory. He knew it was tresspassing but he could deal with the consequenses easily. He looked down to the glowing green orb which hung proudly around his neck. He smiled to himself as he held it tightly against his chest. Letting go of the orb he broke into a swift trot which urged him passed the border of the Anana Pack's terratory. He looked at his new surroundings comparing their land to his. He finally slid to a stop sniffing for any other wolves who may be lurking around but caught no scent and continued along his short journey. His slim and muscular body moved in motion with his fast trot, he speedily made his way through the Cove but still saw no sign of any life what so ever.

Diggs watched, golden eyes wide, as the two forms that had materialized in the distance exchanged words and gazes. She never was much good at interpreting the expression of others, too absorbed in her own presentations. But it was obvious that there words were pert and blunt, at least as far as she could hear. And with the other female wolf (Edana) barring her teeth like that, Diggs chose to remain unseen. But it was the lake water that soon pryed Bombazine's attention away from the wolves. It irritated her. She could not simply stay still within that germ infested substance! Her legs quivered as she tried to remain still. Maybe if she ignored that she was in the lake? No use, each gentle lap was like a slap against the face. We're here! We're here! The germs seemed to scream out from beneath the water's surface. Quickly Diggy pulled what little of her was in the lake back onto dry land. Flicking her tail to and fro, and shaking her pelt only a small sum of water and sand kicked up. It was then that she noticed the male had vanished. Was he really gone? Diggs inhaled, trying to pick up a scent.
"Germs, pssssht, numbs the senses. "

"It's rather rude to spy, m'lady." Asuka's voice was a caress of black velvet as he glided over the sandy lake shores. The disembodied voice seemed to echo across the winds, rolling over the shimmering lake surfac and whipping through the branches of the willow trees. Not even a pebble was disturbed as he moved over the surface, coming to stand directly before the female, though she would not know he was there. She could walk right through him in this state, and his scent had drifted away to become nonexistent. Even his voice drifted from all directions, never givign away his location for even the barest of seconds. It was a lovely, useful ability he had been given from brith he term ghosting. Indeed, he was a ghost. Silent as death, and just as dangerous. What could be more frightening than knowing you faced a foe, and yet they were nowhere to be seen? Than knowing your very shadow could become them, and turn against you?

Chills, ran down Bombaine's very visible spine. What was that? That voice? She stamped her foot, with quite a temper, into the shore's sandy soil. The particles scurried away from the angry form, while some clung to her wet paw. The sand that clung to her "foot" appeared to be suspended in air. Diggs' breathing quickened, her heart racing just a bit above normal, while her eyes scurried across the terrain, seeking frantically, a face to the mysterious voice. It seemed to come from...well everywhere, and her attempts were in vain.
"How can you see me? We both are unseen, neither can find the other, until one gives up this facade."
She sneered, her necklaces clanging, as she sunk low to the ground. It would be no use to run around in circles trying to find the voice. It could not find her through sight or scent, so why not enjoy the scenery while playing this little game?
"Sir, I will have you know that it is not I who will be the first to withdraw, so you might as well....give up now."
That same smirk stretched across her face . It dominanted the features and hid the minor flaws of the physque, like her drawn in face or the dark circles beneath her eyes. Lazily, Diggs slid into a laying position, shoving aside more sand. Unwillingly she was leaving herself very exposed, with all of this sudden commotion. She pressed her muzzle to the sand and continued on with her cocky grin, waiting.

I'm not the dense fool that Anana wolf apparently believes. I pay close attention; that splash was far too big for a fish to make. I merely follow the ripples. That aside, you just made yourself clear. You stand where I do, on the borderline of sanity and fiction. A very interesting place to be, would not you agree? He settled down on his haunches, suspended above the very still surface of the water, staring back at her, though she would not know.
Tis unfortunate I will eventually have to coincide; my ability stretches beyond yours, and consequences do occur for such a gift. However, you seem a tad unwilling for company at the moment. Do tell, am I to be cast out again? Pity, it's becoming a tiresome thing.
He cared not for the approaching, previous female behind him. What did it matter were she to find him? She would never catch the wind...

((I couldn't sleep, so I thought I'd post. )) Asuka rolled his eyes again, padding over toward Edana. His tail stood erect as the blazing sun overhead as he met her fully for the second time that evening. Though, this time, she would not know how to strike back shoudl she feel the need. "How fortunate for me then, to belong to Kadzait. Take your tales to scare the pups; there are no need for them in this world any longer. Times have changed and, yes, tensions have risen, but that is not an excuse for mindless slaughter. We live to die, and die so that others may survive, yes, but who are we but what we make ourselves? And what of those who fail to strive, to yearn, for anything in their existance? Does that make them of any less value than you or I? Who drawns the line between right and wrong? Between death and life? Who suffers when the world has risen, leaving them to the forgotten ashes? It is pathetic. How useless we as a lot have become."Asuka shook his head once more, judging the small toll on his strength that was being taken as the moments passed. He could go like this for a few hours longer, a day is he absolutely must, though that was doubtful. It was evident he was not wanted here, yet why he bothered to remain was a mystery to himself as well as any wolf around who decided to care for another othen than himself.

The body of Bombazine lay like the dead, stomach down, nestled with each grain of sand. Still, still, still. The female faced sideways, caught between the lake to her left and the clashes of voices to her right. Diggs, frowned about a bit, a pouty look to show her displeasure with the male's (Asuka) sudden leave. Diggs wasn't exactly the patient type though, especially when she got around to being curious. It took concentration to remain hidden as she was, and the first thing to go would be her scent, she was sure of it. If Diggy's mind was pulled to and fro on the subject matter to her right, her scent would be revealed and she would be a goner. Because well, if you could smell a wolf you might as well be able to see them. Instead she slowly lifted her physical shield of invisibility. In this way she could remain focused on finding the voice, and not give away her scent. If need be, she could always disappear once more, behind her full invisibility. Slowly, she lifted this ability, revealing herself. Eyes, golden, creept out and into the air, suspended just above the sand. Th sclera's were a painful puffy pink. Then, a leg at a time, a toe, or an ear, would appear. In this way, she revealed her eccentric self, her bizarre form. Emaciated would be a simple sum of the female; ribs showing, a drawn in faced, and dark purple circles beneath the eyes, although a complementary word such as bold or different would have appeased her. She was white, an unnatural white. It was obvious that the fur had been dyed to this stiff color. On the left of her body, scaling the bumps of her ribs, was written in a sable ink in the human alphabet "diggy", all lower case letters. On her lips were blue piercings, her left ear a rainbow of studs. Her hair fell over her eyes in a sloppy banged manner, an assortment of pinks, maroons, and oranges. The back part of the "do" stood as an erect mane of greens and sharp yellows. This, this was the creature hiding in the Cove. Around her neck hung a metal necklace, and two gel necklaces, one green and the other blue. Her toes were decorated with an assortment of rings as well.
"Oh, the lady has surely shown herself. Wouldn't it be lovely, if her sir should do the same?"
