blood.
the simple words arouses the senses, makes you fully aware;
it's a craving that we all want, that we need to seek out.
at least you crave it when you're one with the night, a bloodsucker, a child of darkness,
a vampire.


welcome to 2015, hollywood, california; things are not the same.
most of the human race is gone, only few survive and we don't know how long that's going to be. the world has been overcome by creatures of darkness: vampires and werewolves – and they are still entrapped in the war they've been in for a while. a blood feud.
those that stand up, those rare humans, fight for what is right, they defend themselves, seek out the vampires and try to eliminate them.
there are still the helpless, the humans who cannot fight.
the poor, innocent bystander who doesn't like walking alone at night any longer – these are the people that those rare few protect.
a world of magic.
along with the vampires, werewolves, and humans, we've got the magic users.
witches. they aren't as sheltered as they once were.
they come in two types: good and evil.
just like everything else.

so here's the choice:
are you ready to enter a world of good and evil?
this is your decision, choose a side and take a stand.

    In the year 2015, Global Warming has changed, but not destroyed, what we now of the world. The process went faster than expected, so this sort of thing was bound to happen. Where there once reigned sunshine over the lands now is cast upon a thick blanket of fog, darkness, rain, and ultimately, gloominess. That is what has happened to Hollywood, California, which is why the vampires, and creatures of the darkness, are able to rule during the "daylight" hours. No longer do they have to hide in the darkness in order to come out and attack, they can come out and walk amongst the normal.

    The vampires walk amongst humans, werewolves walk amongst the humans as well. High school still continues and is plagued with these contaminations, though no one knows who is who – not unless you allow yourself to be exposed. Thus, it creates a rather tension-strained environment around the regular people, the humans. They do not know who is their friend, nor who is their enemy; they all walk together, side by side.

    When the sunshine does poke through the clouds, which is once in a blue moon, the vampires take to the shadows, which are still around and everywhere. Alas, they still hunt during the day like, though they are more careful. Werewolves, on the other hand, can take shape and form at any time, day or night. If it weren't for the brutal findings left from the vampires, werewolves could be considered more dangerous.

    There is also a battle ragging, as there always will be, between vampires, both good and evil, against the werewolves, both good and evil. However, what is most interesting is that those of the evil nature have some form of an alliance with the evil natured enemy and vice versa. It makes the battle more interesting.

    At the moment, the war is calm, life is continuing…
    But for how long?
