Description: As soon as she was able, Lex strived to differ herself from her family as much as possible. After her sudden move from Alaska to California she quickly discovered the wonders of bleach and got rid of her dark brown hair that came from both her mother and her father. She ditched her awkward isolated unfashionable clothes and bought a new wardrobe consisting of skin tight jeans, colourful shirts and band merchandise from the hardcore/punk music scene so far from her parents’ classical taste.

After her new style was established she decided her pale skin was way too boring and like her mother’s, so she began a collection of bright tattoos to add to her body. The only things that separated Lex from her family when she was in Alaska were her figure and her eyes. Her body is slender and her eyes often change from light blue to light green.

Description: Lex was a bubbly girl who loved to be out with friends at gigs, festivals and parties. She pushed her family and life in Alaska as far away from her, both physically and mentally. Refusing to be called her full name (Both first, middle and last being family names and reminders of her former life) she went by Lex and wouldn’t tolerate any other name. When she moved to California she completely changed her lifestyle, image and state of mind. She embraced any friend she could make and was soon part of a very large circle of friends.

After being bitten, her bubbly social life has gone back to normal and she seems to be the wild girl she had been, though she often stays home more and is building up a large collection of comic books which she reads avidly, trying to understand her new powers, often comparing them to Bobby Drake in the X-men series. Other than her new found hobby, powers and thirst, she keeps up her wild party life, enjoying life to whatever extent she can, leaving behind any responsibility a normal life would involve. Although she is always out, she is extremely smart and can play guitar, piano and bass, thanks to her grandfather tutoring her everyday in Alaska.

When it comes to relationships Lex goes for those who are completely different and don’t need constant attention or feel they must say “I love you” every 10 minutes. She’ll maintain that she doesn’t want to fall in love and only gets with people for fun, but deep down she knows that they are all too much alike and will eventually be too demanding of attention. Lex wants to find someone who has the same outlook on love and relationships as she does and won’t get annoyed if she ditches them for something way less important, but way more fun.

Description: Alexandra was raised in a small Alaskan town with a population of 200 and centralised around a mine nearby. Both her parents had to work hard to support her and her grandparents who lived with them. Being the only child her age in town she had nobody to play with and would often sit for hours in the snow making snow friends to play with. As she grew older she started being home schooled by her grandfather, Jacob and her grandmother, Alaska. Her grandmother taught her History, Maths, Science and English, while her grandfather taught her Music. As she grew older she would often sneak out and go walking in the land around her.

By age 12 she would spend hours out walking, no matter how low the temperature dropped. As she grew older, Alexandra would wander further and further from the town. She longed for the city, real friends and something beyond white field on white field. When she was 16 she went for a walk and got caught in a serious blizzard and nearly froze to death. When she finally got home two days later her parents hadn’t even called anybody to look for her. Alexandra waited to get her strength back and then took all of the money she could from her parents safe and bank, stole the family car and drove all the way to California where she stayed in hostels until she got a job and an apartment.

Alexandra started calling herself Lex, bleached her brown hair white then threw out her old country town clothes and bought a whole new wardrobe. She soon made friends and was thrown into the wild music scene of punk, metal and hardcore, which was so far from her parent’s classical taste and she soon fell in love with the rage and passion behind the music. When she reached 17 she was out almost every night at parties getting drunk and taking anything anyone had. She had learnt to enjoy what the gorgeous boys and girls could offer, but never stayed in relationships for more than 3 weeks. At a friend’s birthday party she went into a room with a boy she’d met a few hours before and he turned out to be a vampire and she was found by a friend who was luckily enough a member of the Avarice coven and helped her to manage the thirst and her newfound powers. Lex then continued her life as usual, trying to ignore the new additions in her body and started collecting comics which she could relate to, especially the x-men series and the character Bobby Drake or Iceman as her shared her abilities.

Lex now enjoys no longer having to sleep as it means she can stay out and party more.
