Yes sir SCAW forum fans, after a full week of voting which I'm glad a few of you were willing to participate, I have once selected four nominees for a shot at being in a CAW show. All they have to do is listen to what the fans had to say about it, give them a chance to vote, and see the results as the deadline states. Now I doubt that these nominees have been involved in CAW before, so I figured it would be interesting to see how this turns out. Here's a brief info on each superstar to give you an idea of who you want to vote for:
Cedric Antonio Kyles, best known by his stage name Cedric the Entertainer, an American actor and comedian. He is perhaps best known as the co-star of the WB sitcom "The Steve Harvey Show", as Eddie in the "Barbershop" films, and as one of the four comedians featured in the Spike Lee film "The Original Kings of Comedy." If this guy can do it all in the comedy business, imagine the entertainment he would bring for any CAW show. That is if this is the guy you want to vote for. Our next nominee is Alfred Charles "Al" Sharpton, Jr. an American Baptist minister, civil rights activist, and radio talk show host. In 2004, he was a candidate for the Democratic nomination for the U.S. presidential election. He hosts his own radio talk show, "Keepin' It Real," and he makes regular guest appearances on Fox News {such as "The O'Reilly Factor"}, CNN and MSNBC. Sharpton s supporters praise "his ability and willingness to defy the power structure that is seen as the cause of their suffering" and consider him "a man who is willing to tell it like it is". Former New York Mayor Ed Roch, a one-time foe, said that Sharpton deserves the respect he enjoys among African-Americans: "He is willing to go to jail for them, and he is there when they need him." His critics describe him as "a political radical who is to blame, in part, for the deterioration of race relations". Sociologist Orlando Patterson has reffered to him as a racial arsonist, while liberal columbist Derrick Z. Jackson has called him the black equivalent of Richard Nixon and Pat Robertson. Sharpton sees much of the criticism as a sign of his effectiveness. "In many ways, what they consider criticism is complimenting my job," he said. "An activist's job is to make public civil rights issues until there can be a climate for change." That's coming a lot from a guy who was a minister, imagine how he plays a role if he ever made a CAW debut. Fans could see him as either a general manager or a manager for another superstar, depending on the leagues who would like to hire him. That was only half for this poll. Second-to-last for this poll is Benjamin Todd "Ben" Roethlisberger, nicknamed Big Ben, an American football quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League. He was drafted by the Steelers 11th overall in the 2004 NFL Draft. He played college football at Miami University {Oxford, Ohio}. Roethlisberger earned the AP NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2004. He became the youngest Super Bowl-winning quarterback in NFL history, helping lead the Steelers, in his second professional season, to a 21-20 victory over the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XL at the age of 23. He was named to his first Pro Bowl in 2007. Roethlisberger led the Steelers to a second Super Bowl title in four seasons as they defeated the Arizona Cardinals in Super Bowl XLIII, 27-23, after he made a game-winning touchdown pass to Santonio Holmes in the final 35 seconds. Roethlisberger has been one of the most efficient passers in NFL history. He currently ranks 8th all-time in NFL passer rating {90.5}, 6th in yards per attempt {7.92}, and 9th in completion percentage {63.4%} among quarterbacks with a minimum of 1500 career attempts. Known for playing outside the quarterback pocket in what he calls "backyard football", Roethlisberger is often compared to his childhood idol, former Denver Broncos quarterback John Elway, due to the similar styles and fourth-quarter comebacks. Roethlisberger also grew up idolizing Joe Montana. Roethlisberger wears number 7 in Elway's honor. We have seen NFL stars make an impact in the CAW world, but I doubt anyone could compare to the power of this individual. Last, but certainly not least, the divas from "Access Hollywood," consisting of Nancy Humphries O'Dell, American television host and entertainment journalist, and Maria Menounos, American actress, journalist, and television presenter known at home for appearances as a correspondent for "The Today Show" and "Access Hollywood," and was abroad for co-hosting the "Eurovision Song Contest 2006" in Athens, Greece. Among these two lovely stars, Maria Menounos got a taste of what is like to compete in the ring and really knew how to entertain the crowd that night. These 2 know what it feels calling all the action regarding entertainment and the world of CAW could be the next step to their impact. If these two can work well as a team, there's no telling what could happen to the well-known "Access Hollywood" stars. The question is: Would you hire any of these divas? So there you have it, as promised a new poll by today and a special twist. Because some of you guys have been so great participating in these series of polls for over several weeks, I decided to give you guys a break for once. So instead of giving you guys a week to choose between these nominees, I have decided to give you a total of four weeks to vote and I do hope this will give EVERYBODY enough time to vote for their favorite stars. And as an added bonus, I'M GIVING EVERYONE A CHANCE TO VOTE FOR 2 OF THE NOMINEES IN THE POLL {Note how I make the words big so guys like Mattitude won't miss the instructions again}. This time I'm sure I picked some guys never before used in CAW before and I do hope this gives everyone the challenge they were waiting for. Voting begins: NOW!! |

Day 2 of the poll and so far The NFL Superstar and The Entertainer are tied for first, while The Reverend & Access Hollywood fall behind tied in last place. I predict near the end of the first half of the four week experiment we will all have an idea of how this poll might turn out. But then we still have the next 2 weeks which will make this poll rather interesting.

They all would suck. But if I had to pick, Ben long-ass-name. Just because he would suck less out of all of these.

I didn't say they would all be fighting superstars, The Reverend would make a good GM, Acces Hollywood would be backstage interviewers, and the other two would be competitive. But that's my opinion, I'm sure the rest of the forum might have ideas for them. Who knows: A CAW league might possibly probably want to hire half of the superstars on this poll. Who knows? You still have another few weeks to vote.

Here's another poll update from "The Man With The Plans" Bryce Kanyon. Based on your votes we have:
Ben Roesthlisburger: 5 Cedric the Entertainer: 3 Reverend Al Sharpton: 1 Access Hollywood: 1 But if you guys think I'm ending this poll now, wrong. Because I said this poll is going to be different from all the others I have done in the past few weeks. So now for those who have yet to vote, you'll be pleased to know that you have an extra three weeks to vote. That goes for anyone who just signed up for the SCAW forums too. So you better get those votes going SCAW fans because this is the most time you ever get from me. |

Another week has come and gone and now it's time for the latest update of the week. From this poll, the score stands as it is:
Ben Roesthlisburger: 7 Cedric the Entertainer: 3 Reverend Al Sharpton: 1 Access Hollywood: 1 Remember wrestling fans, you still have 2 more weeks to vote so you only had half the amount of time you had then. Get some votes in now because it's a matter of time before I unleash my new poll for this site. |

Here's Bryce Kanyon again with an important update CAW fans: We're on our last week before I get set for the new poll so anyone who hasn't voted please do so at this time.
Note: Still a few openings left for the tournament, anyone who has already signed-up tell all your friends and convince them to take part in it. I will go over the plans for the tournament once everyone has signed up so do so while you still have time. You only get one chance to shine so you better do so now. As for the votes, you got one more week to vote. YOU HEAR CAW FANS! One week left, you had all the time in the world and still the score is the same. To those who did vote, tell all your friends to pick who they would like. A new poll will be made next Tuesday. Mark that on your calendars, new poll on Tuesday November 10th. |

Only 2 more days left to vote CAW fans, by that time a new poll will be released with four new superstars to vote for. Anyone who hasn't done so should vote for their superstar now. Either way, we might have a winner by the end of the voting period.
