Din was sort of shocked, but didn't let it show, the crowd had started to quiet down, just the occasional giggle now, "I had been trying to make it a double legged kick but my foot caught the ground, and I flew head first into you," Din was probably more embarrassed at the fact he'd screwed up the technique, his reputation as the best fighter in Wutai meant a lot to him, he'd need to work hard to get it back now, "it was the first time I've ever tried it, guess it wasn't a very smart thing to do against a seasoned fighter such as yourself," he smiled.

[Shenorai]

Shenorai pulled her dark locks away from her face and returned the smile. "I wouldn't say I'm quite that good. Trying two things at once usually doesn't turn out well," she replied with a chuckle. She had tried that before when she was learning how to fight. If it wasn't for Leondra, she would've ended up in the river on more than one occasion.

Seasoned fighter, huh? Now that's flattering, Shen commented mentally to Leondra.
Leondra chuckled. Don't let that get to you. It's your job to fight, remember?
But I'm off duty, so it shouldn't matter at the moment.

Shenorai then handed the sword handle-first back to Din. She's had her taste of battle for the day, even it it was for a couple minutes. To at least keep his mind off of the little accident, she cleared her throat and addressed Din again.

"Anyway," she began, trying to sound more casual, "I'm obviously new to these parts. Al over there was showing me around town." And as she said that, she pointed her thumb back at him. "Do you know if the pagoda allows visitors to the entire building or is it restricted?" This would be nice to know. This way, she can tour where she'd like without getting herself into trouble.

[Lokkin]

"It's off-limits to most, Al and I are allowed up, with seldom few other exceptions, and then only on rare occasions, I think the master wouldn't mind just this once though," Din turned his head and spoke over his shoulder, "whatcha think Al? Do you think we can handle a couple thousand extra reps in punishment?" Din smiled, but very little of what he had said was a joke.

[Red Fox]

Al got up after the fight..
gave a short applaude..
as he approached Din. he replied

"well.. I only a thousand" he chucked ironically. "I guess that should be ok.. and he master seldom lets things go.." this wouldnt be the first time they where punnished.. but then again.. this did in fact double up as some sort of training..

[Lokkin]

"Ok then, sounds fine to me," Din turned to face Shenorai again, giving a little bow, "Ladies first."

Al mentally prepared himself for the countless physical endurance tests that the master would put upon them when he finds this out.

as he heard Din:
"Ok then, sounds fine to me.. Ladies first."

he turns his head slightly. so that to see her reaction

[Shenorai]

Shenorai nodded slightly in response to Din's bow and looked up at the pagoda, wondering just what marvels lie within. Hoping she was going in the right way, she started walking towards the door.

Then a thought struck her. These boys are risking themselves just to let her see these things. It would be a shame to be kicked out as soon as they walked in. Shen turned her head and spoke over her shoulder.

"Is this the only way in or is there a way 'round the back?"

[Lokkin]

"It won't really matter either way, the only floor we won't be able to get into is the very top one, because our master and the council are in a meeting, they won't be out for a few hours, but I have a sneaking suspicion that Al and I will be punished nonetheless, I think he has a sentinel on each floor, but he won't do anything until after the meeting."

[Red Fox]

Al nodded
"its just as din said.. we can roam somewhat freely untill later on.."
then he gets the pictures in his mind again
"then.. then im pretty shure we get some 'training'"
