Shenorai felt his leg collide with her stomach. With an "oof!" and a stumble, Shen was knocked backwards a little and clutched her middle. It wasn't too strong of a blow, thankfully. As long as her ribs weren't broken, all's good.

"That's much better, Lokkin!" Chuck hollered, the cheers of the crowd now getting to him as well. "Show her what yer made of!"

Wow, he's noisy, Leondra noted as Shen straightened up again.
No doubt about that.

Shen took a couple steps back and took up a defensive position. If she could make him move and keep using that leg, the advantage would remain hers.

[Lokkin]

"Bloody moron, he keeps underestimating her, luckily, I don't hold the same ignorance," Lokkin thought to himself.

Lokkin rebalanced himself after the blow. His foot hadn't been as bad as he thought it would be, maybe because he hadn't tried to attack very hard, it still hurt, but it was better than it had been originally,

"Well now, isn't this lucky, she doesn't know my foot is any better," Lokkin feined a grimace to try and lull Shenorai into a false sense of security, but kept his defensive position. His foot still wasn't good enough to go on the offensive.

Think that leg is any better? Shen asked Leondra, as though for guidance.
Not sure. I couldn't tell how hard you hit it, she responded.
Oh gee, thanks.

Seeing how Lokkin wasn't taking up the offensive like she thought, she may as well keep this match going. She stepped back a few more feet and figured she should try and get that other leg taken care of. In other words; repeating a previous tactic. Leaving someone incapacitated should be enough to win this match.

And so once more, Shen charged, her sword aimed high. She may skin herself this time, but it'll be well worth it. Her side ached as she moved. After all, it was trying to clot, but Shen wouldn't keep still. With a hop, she tried to slide and smash her boot against his other foot. She felt the skin on her leg suddenly burning from the friction and some skin on her calf gave way and peeled off. She gritted her teeth to bear it as it slowly began to ooze.*\

[Lokkin]

Lokkin tumbled to the side, not allowing her move to work again. As he tumbled, he swung his sword low, slowly, but hopefully, quick enough to catch the back of Shenorai's leg. Not bothering to use the flat of his blade, knowing that if he did land a blow, it would be pretty shallow. He noticed the skin on Shenorai's leg being scraped, even before the blow reached her leg

"Heh, I guess we are about even then," he thought to himself.

[Shenorai]

Shenorai gritted her teeth to hold back a cry of pain as the blade sliced her calf. At least it was a shallow cut. Alas, he had inflicted another blow upon her. The spectators seemed to know this well, for their cheers were loud and all for Lokkin.

Yet she had to smile a little. This was a good match and she knew it. She was almost out of breath, she had several cuts, a skinned leg, some blood has been spilled, and her legs burned from vigorous use. To her, these aches and pains were good. She underestimated her opponent and her body payed the toll.

Well, you seem to be enjoying this, Leondra remarked.
Shenorai pushed herself back on her feet. What's not to enjoy?
Fair point.

Chuck could be heard from outside the ring, trying to coach Lokkin it seemed.

"That's it! Keep it up and you'll win fer sure! Just get her back on the floor already!"

Shen shook her head at those remarks and glanced up at Lokkin. She seemed half-exhausted as it is. Leaning on her sword a little, she had one thing to ask.

"You still wanna play?"

[Lokkin]

Lokkin sighed at Chuck's ignorance and tested his ankle, putting it down on the ground, stretching it a bit,

"A little better still, but I won't risk putting too much weight on it," he thought,

Raising his head he looked at Shenorai, leaning on her sword slightly. For all her apparent exhaustion, Lokkin still saw a smile on her lips,

"You still wanna play?" she asked,

"Only if you do, madam," Lokkin bowed as much as standing on one leg would allow and smiled.

[Lamenting Angel]

*A cloaked figure on horse back watched the fight, greatly amused at the blood shed made by each strike. It reminded him of spars with the windowmaker and the Abbot back in the old days. Cold ice blue eyes watch as the fight takes place*

(OOC lol i couldn't find a appropriate RP for Phantom so some mindles...wrong word...eh soem fighting for the hell of it might keep him busy for the time being)

Seeing how Lokkin was testing his ankle, Shen just smiled. She was feeling rather generous today, considering the duel. It was a good feeling to spar against a decent fighter. However, since both of them were injured (somewhat, at least), she decided to give both Lokkin and herself a break.

Shen stood up straight and gave her blade a slight squeeze in the handle. The blade shattered into hundreds of shards and disappeared into nothingness. Now unarmed, she walked over to Lokkin and held out her hand in a truce.

"I think we should give it a rest for now. What do you say to a draw?"

[Lokkin]

Lokkin brought his leg down, sheathed his blade, unfastened the holster from his belt and threw it out of the ring, striking Chuck right in the face as he was half way through shouting "Don't you dare!" He grasped Shenorai's hand, shaking it and smiling, before speaking in a lowered voice that only she would hear,
"Next time, it'll be even better, I hope you keep practising."
