The Bane of Bloodlust (Vampire Hunters)

So, you've stumbled upon this lil shack, have you? Let me tell you, this is no ordinary shed. Beneath these floors lies the hall to a hideout. What sort? Vampire hunters, of course. Someone needs to battle against them, whether the people know they exist or not. I tell ya, they're all over the place now. For all you know, a few of your friends may be vamps.

Anyway, what ails ya, then? Need a serum for a vampire bite? No? ...oh, I see, you want to join, doncha? Heh...well, let me explain a few things to ya, then...

You know all of those old vampire stories? Well...most of them are true, I suppose. Yes, stakes in the heart, sunlight, and garlic mean bad news to them. After all, their skin are more sensitive to UV rays than ours and they're allergic to those cloves. However, unless a cross is embedded into their heart, it doesn't do squat. Neither does holy water. The Church tends to get carried away with some of those tall tales.

You sure you want to join? Sure? Well, if you say so. We'll provide the weapons, you just make sure you don't get bitten.

Here is the map for the underground. It's posted next to the stairs when you come down. It's numbered, sure, but I've provided a key;

5 - Kitchen/Dining Room (Hey, gotta eat)

B - Exit Tunnel (ends up behind a church)
C - Emergency Exit (ends up at the dam)

Go ahead and pick out your quarters! Down the hall, take a right, and browse around!

*browses around*

Hmmm......can I just have a katana or something?

Wee.. me be with..

*openes door, walks down a well used wooden staircase*

*Creak*

*Looks around outside the shack before decending down the stairs herself. She tugs on a rope to get the trapdoor shut and heads on down.*

Let's see...

*She then unrolls a map and pins it up onto the wall right next to the stairs*

There we go.

*Satisfied, she walks down the main hall and takes the first door on the left - the library. It's rather small, but it's good enough. Shelves line the walls and are filled with various books and scrolls. There is a single shelf solely for maps - both local and of the country. In the middle is a desk. There is one chair facing towards the door and the other four surround the desk. Shen shrugs and pulls out one of the local maps, laying it out on the desk. Using a blue marker, she makes small 'x's on places that have been cleared of vampires already. Needless to say, she only put down three.*

*Walks into the shed*

Pshh.. The guys said that this place was haunted. Well, nobody is here!!!

*Looks around at the rusty shovels, they seem to be coated with fresh dirt*

..Looks like I just won the dare ^^

*Shen hears a voice coming from up above*

...kids or newcomers, I wonder?

*She walks out of the library and goes up the stairs. Hearing some footsteps, she decides to knock on the trapdoor and call out at whoever's there to see what would happen.*

Who goes there?!

*He quickly spins around in a full circle, trying to find the noise and hold his urine in*

W-who's there!?

Hey, I asked you first, buddy.

*She doesn't open the trapdoor 'til she knows what's going on. Could be a vampy for all she knows...then again, she made sure she drenched the floorboards with garlic extract*
