Hello and Welcome to Revival! If you are new to Revival, please read and familiarize yourself with the rules before playing. We love to have fun on the site and to have fun, it's good to know the rules.
We are finally open for others to join! Granted, we're low on members so if you manage to just take a peek in here, please let others know that we are now open and ready to start rping with you! Don't hesitate to ask for help in the C-box or PM an Administrator (ANY of us will do, I promise) with any concerns you may have.
--REVIVAL's Been Revived!-- I know that we've had a LONG hiatus, but it looks like things are picking back up again! I put up a new layout and hope to liven things back up again around here. So let's do our best everyone!
Penance, Revival's sister site, is almost completed and will be having its grand opening pretty soon! Be patient with us and excuse the lack of activity on my end every once in a while because of my preparing for the opening of the site. Also, next month we will be having our first activity check in a long time. No threads need be active, but so long as you, the account holder, checks in, that's fine.
From now on, our banners are on a randomizer so we will have various different images on the site that will pop up. Some old, some new. If you have a banner you wish to have added to the rotation, post it in the banner thread in the OOC section of the board. In addition to this, I WILL be putting up an announcement about the switch from Liquid Time to Semi-Liquid Time in the next week or so.
Have fun you guys and look forward to the new changes (as well as possible new members) on Revival!

Honestly, Akasha had no idea how she was feeling at the current moment. Anger was a factor however, a very big factor. At the same time though, she was also feeling hurt in various ways for various reasons.
First and foremost, she was getting absolutely tired of cleaning up behind her older sister. Where did Dee Dee got off being so damn reckless anyway?! Was it so wrong taking responsibility for one's mistakes? Kasha did not think so; it proved one was a human being, but it also proved one had the strength, courage, and the audacity to actually admit one was wrong. It proved one actually had balls.
Kali was also getting rather fed up with the skirting around each other. Though she missed Skyla dearly, she gave the older woman an ultimatum for a reason, and she was definitely not going to back down on it. If being this petty proved to Sky of her being a pain in the ass from the mistakes she made, then so be it, but nothing was going to stop her from doing what she was doing.
The mixed woman sighed however as she walked into the vet clinic. Letting go of the stress would be best right now. After all, poor Rum managed to gobble up a toy ball, so he was rushed here. The surgery went well, from what the nurse was currently telling her, and he was having a final check-up before being released. Akasha sat down and waited with a magazine in hand.

Olivia sighed as she walked into the clinic she was going to kill her brother for this, earlier in the day he tricked her into taking their dog to the vet after he was the one that hurt him. Why did she have to do it all? It was not her stupid dog after all. Glaring as she looked around, she didn’t know why she was still scared of being around people not a single person had figured out who she was.
Walking over to the desk she smiled to the girl and flirted with her a little as she asked how long the wait was. Giggling as the blond behind the desk flirted back and told Olivia that she was next right after the old man and his bird; Olivia nodded and turned and looked down at Mayflower she was going to have to wait it seemed as the old man with the bird was still in the waiting room. Scanning the room there was only one seat left and that was next to a beauty reading a magazine.
Olivia sighed this was not going to be good she hated crowds and that what this waiting room was crowd, picking up Mayflower she moved to the seat and sat down placing the dog in her lap she leaned back and smiled as Mayflower barked to get her attention. “Don’t worry little one, you will be fine”

Flipping through the magazine slowly, Akasha heaved another sigh. Normally she was a very friendly person and would engage in conversation with the others in the waiting room to help make the waiting not so long, but for some odd reason, she did not feel like talking with those who were around her. In fact, the sound of everyone else's voices seemed to swallow her, as darkness does to one side of the world.
She inhaled deeply while simultaneously blaming her current mood on other things. She had to shake these feelings. Kasha was never the one to let her mood caused by one thing ruin something else, but truth be told, it was getting harder and harder for her to do so, what with everything which was going on at home. Maybe she should see her shrink after she drop Rum off at the house or even text the older woman now.
Crossing her legs, Akasha placed her magazine on her lap and shifted her body to slip her cellphone from its holster when the little sexy blonde passing by her caused her to stop and stare. Kali cleared her throat softly as the other woman sat next to her and talked to the doggie in her arms, chuckling even as she bent over to rest her elbows on her knees. Turning her head toward the dazzling yellow diamond, she smiled. "Heh ... maybe your animal should be saying that to you. You don't look very comfortable right now, but maybe you'll allow me to help you with that. I'm Akasha." She held out her right hand toward the woman next to her. "Akasha Tayler. May I ask the name of such a dazzling beauty?"

Olivia closed her eyes wishing this was all over she hated this and she was much happier hiding around Kiyo’s house. After all Kiyo rarely let the young girl out of her sight, Livy was not complaining Kiyo kept her in check and this helped her so she could do her homework. Looking around she started to wish that it was her turn she hated it here, plus this is Oliver’s dog not hers. Letting out a sigh she looked up and almost fall out of her chair when she heard someone talking to her. Sudden movements and sounds really were not good for her.
She listened to the girl and smirked what was it and woman in Canada no one in the states hit on her like this, smiling at Mayflower she petted the dogs head and smirked “oh sure, her name is Mayflower” she said with a giggle. Olivia knew that Akasha was talking about her and not the dog but Livy didn’t see herself as a dazzling beauty so she would not answer to that. After a minute she sighed and laughed again, “Hi, Akasha Tayler. I’m Olivia” oh god here we go again with the last name she sighed heavily as she thought of something to say and before thinking she spoke. “Milani. Olivia Milani” suddenly she hit her head as she realized what she had just stated oh how Kiyo was going to kill her for this.
Looking down at her dog quickly her whole body was shaking with fear did she have a choice? Would this girl know Akiyo? What if she did say Marshall and this girl knew the story on the news or knew about her because someone wanted her dead? So many what ifs it killed her at times not being able to trust someone annoyed her she needed friends but how was she going to do that if she couldn’t trust?

Slipping a finger underneath her bandanna to scratch her right temple, Akasha chuckled at the joke. Usually when thrown something such as those words, it would be wise to back down a bit, and so she shrugged her shoulders and gave a small smile before turning her attention to the phone in her left hand. She really needed to talk with her psychologist about what has been going on lately, but because of now being a critical time in her treatment, she was somewhat afraid being put back on her medication and becoming another walking zombie.
The mixed girl shook off the feelings and sent her doctor a quick greeting regardless, sitting up and pressing her back against her chair as she did so. Hearing the blonde speak, however, made Kali cut her eyes at the other woman, and as she introduced herself, Kali smirked and idly dropped the phone into her lap.
"Well, it's quite a pleasure to meet you, Ms. Milani." Taking one of Olivia's hands, she kissed the back of it gently before bringing it to her cheek, rubbing gently. "Are you sure you're alright though? You're shaking pretty bad, doll." Akasha let go of Olivia's hand, proceeded to take off her hoodie, and wrapped it around the shoulders of the other woman. Here. Hopefully this'll help. So ... let me hear that bell of a voice of yours again. What do you do? Where are you from? Talk to me."

Olivia blushed as the other girl took her hand and kissed it before she touch her cheek with Olivia’s hand she felt as if she was lost in a far off place of happiness and all the anger she had for her brother disappeared, and this young blonde was lost in the other girls eyes that she didn’t even feel Mayflower jump from her lap and lay on the floor. “Yes…I’m okay now…” she said softly and in an innocent tone. Could she really be falling for this girl already? Well whatever this feeling was she liked it.
“Miss Marshall, We have Mayflower’s meds here the doc says you can go” Olivia jumped as she heard the woman speaking about Mayflower. “Oh my I seem to have forgotten to change my last name here I was adopted a few weeks ago” she said as she let go of the girls hand and walked up to the counter taking the meds “Thank you I’ll be sure to have my brother call if he has any questions” she smiled and walked back over to Akasha and smiled before she sat down. “Do you mind if I stay and keep you company?” she asked softly hoping the girl would say yes.
Smiles at the hoodie as she did start to get warmer. “Thank you that was kind of you” she said as she looked at Mayflower and smiled. “Well I am from the states but my brother and I moved out here so I can go to college for nursing”

She could not quite put her finger on it, but the hip-hop dancer knew there was something quite intriguing about the woman next to her. She could not tell if it was the way the other's blonde hair sparkled in the light or if it was the exotic contrast between the smaller one's pale skin and red dress. Whatever it was, it was making Akasha want a very savored taste of this vanilla swirl.
Hearing Olivia being called by "Ms. Marshall" caused Kali to slightly raise an eyebrow in confusion, but as an explanation was given, she waved the bought away, fully knowing it could be rather hard to get one's named changed on every account possible. No matter how hard some tried, they still received a bill or notice which contained their old name. Thoughts such a these ended as soon as they appeared, needless to say. Once Liv rose from her seat, Kasha had her eyes glued onto the other's backside, watching the way the dress swooshed from back and forth when she walked.
And it birth the beginning of an ever-heightening libido.
Clearing her throat as she watched Olivia come back, Kasha let her eyes travel down to her phone while nodding to the question of company. After Livia finished speaking, she chuckled. "Heh, well it looks like we have something in common other than sick animals." Akasha twirled her fingers though a few of her braids as her eyes cut to Olivia. "I'm from Philly, P.A. myself. Sissy brought me here after Mom died. It's been about three years, so I'd like to think I know this place pretty well. If you need anything, I'm ya girl."
Placing a free hand on Olivia's face, Kasha took the pad of her thumb and gently rubbed the flesh underneath before placing her other hand on the back of Olivia's neck. Pulling the blonde closer to her, the braided brunette allowed her full, plump lips to brush against the tenderness of the other's face as they made their way to the girl's earlobe. "And when I said anything, I do mean anything. If you're up to it, I could show you a little later at my place," Pausing, Akasha let her voice linger for a moment before letting the sound of her exhaling very, very slowly fill Livia's hearing canal. The mixed one smiled as she backed away, a smirk on her face and in her eyes. "but only if you're up for it."

Olivia watched Akasha closely as she listened to her talk about being from the states; she jumped a little and sighed. This girl could know about her family. Almost all the states had heard about the mob boss Marshall. “Oh that’s cool that we are from the states together that just means I don’t have to listen someone poke fun at my accent” she said softly before she looked down. “I’m sorry about your mom both my parents are dead too so I know how hard it is to lose someone you love” she said without looking up she hated admitting that she lost her parents. “I might take you up on that offer” she said with a smile.
Livy jumped and almost fell when the taller girls touch her face no one had touched her like that in years. The minute she felt as if she was going to fall the feeling had passed when the other girl had placed a hand on her back. Shaking a little in the girl’s arms but also had a safe feeling pass over her she had a feeling that this girl was not going to hurt her. When she pulled her closer she tripped and fell into her. Olivia had never met a girl this open about what she wanted but after all the stress here she smiled and giggled as the woman’s lips touched her face.
“I’m up for anything today as long as my puppy is allowed to come with?” she said in a flirting tone. It had been months since she was able to have some fun so why not and if the girl didn’t know who she was then what is the problem? There was none..”Well show me around my beautiful guide”

Oh my, my, my! Had Akasha's ears heard those words correctly? Was the only stipulation she was truly under was to bring the adorable black fluffball along? A smirked crossed the woman's features, one which was confident and solid. "I wouldn't mind," she said smoothly, happily noting the blonde doll was become much more relax, "I wouldn't mind it at all."
Picking up Mayflower, she gently placed the small animal into the arms of the woman opposite her before making her way to the counter as she heard her name being called. Chatting idly with the front desk receptionist, Kasha smiled as she witness the doctor bringing a poor, bandaged Rum, who was sadly locked in a carry-on, to her. A few more words were exchanged, she bowed, then promptly made her way back to Olivia.
Kali took the smaller one's hand and kissed it gently, which caused a mountain of coos to erupt from inside the waiting room. Chuckling under her breathe, the caramel-vanilla swirl silently led her new acquaintance from the vet's office to her car before letting her in, placing Rum on the back seat, and hopping into driver's seat.
"You ready?"
After receiving an okay, Aka pulled out of the parking lot, and fifteen minutes later, they were pulling into the garage of her house. "Here we are. This is were I live ... technically. Anyway, once we get inside, you can leave Mayflower with Maverick and the others to play, then we can play ourselves."

Olivia smiled that was great to hear she really didn’t want to have to go all the way home to drop the puppy off. She was scared that her brother or Kiyo would stop and ask her where she was going if she was to go back there . Watching as Akasha picked up Mayflower she was a little surprised when she passed the dog to her she held the puppy tightly she watched as the older girl walked away only to smile as she came back to her.
Blushing a little as Kali kissed her hand no one had ever been so sweet to her it kind of scared her a little but she let it go just happy that he had a new friend. Following Kali to her car she looked at hers sitting all by its self “Remind me to come back and get me car please” she said as she got in the passengers’ seat and putting her sit belt on.
Nodding to tell she was ready she watched the streets go by until the car came to a stop and Livia got out doing as she was told she let Mayflower go play with the others and looked at Kali. “What do you have in mind?” she said in a playful tone.
