Hello and Welcome to Revival! If you are new to Revival, please read and familiarize yourself with the rules before playing. We love to have fun on the site and to have fun, it's good to know the rules.
We are finally open for others to join! Granted, we're low on members so if you manage to just take a peek in here, please let others know that we are now open and ready to start rping with you! Don't hesitate to ask for help in the C-box or PM an Administrator (ANY of us will do, I promise) with any concerns you may have.
--REVIVAL's Been Revived!-- I know that we've had a LONG hiatus, but it looks like things are picking back up again! I put up a new layout and hope to liven things back up again around here. So let's do our best everyone!
Penance, Revival's sister site, is almost completed and will be having its grand opening pretty soon! Be patient with us and excuse the lack of activity on my end every once in a while because of my preparing for the opening of the site. Also, next month we will be having our first activity check in a long time. No threads need be active, but so long as you, the account holder, checks in, that's fine.
From now on, our banners are on a randomizer so we will have various different images on the site that will pop up. Some old, some new. If you have a banner you wish to have added to the rotation, post it in the banner thread in the OOC section of the board. In addition to this, I WILL be putting up an announcement about the switch from Liquid Time to Semi-Liquid Time in the next week or so.
Have fun you guys and look forward to the new changes (as well as possible new members) on Revival!

Being the new person in a workplace full of veterans had a scary overtone, but settling into this new place of work Nawn was all but given to was not as bad as she expected. The transition was made as simple, easy, and as comfortable as possible, and she had to admit the people a part of this organization she was now working for were much more ... well, nicer than she thought they would be. Deep down inside, they were simply normal people.
... well, at least deep down, because on the surface, one would never be able to guess if some of the characters here were sane or not. Senorita Nawn had heard of quite of a few stories in her short time she had been made a part of this dysfunctional family, and she had made a mental note right then and there not to ever thoroughly piss off any of the contenders of the underground fighting ring.
First, there was Toyaki, who seemed normal enough. It was quite possible he was the most "normal" one apart of the Clairvoyants. Secondly, there was Taisen who, as she had heard, was cute and mischievous. He seemed to get into a fair amount of trouble, but he also had an extremely good heart. Thirdly, there was Kenshin, an atomic bomb waiting to go off at any second. Seeing someone so angry for so long worried her quite a bit. Maybe he should go see a doctor ....
Shaking her head, the demon goddess sighed quite a bit as her eyes scanned the list of the rest of the fighters. Her lovely task were to make the next fighting schedule, but as she look at the list in one hand, and the blank fighting schedule it the other, she knew this particular task was going to need a bit of veteran knowledge lest she wished her head to hurt for the rest of the night, so gathering the things she would need, Nawn left her office in search for the infamous Yang for a bit of know-how.
Though the Mexican woman had been down these halls before, she could barely remember the route she was supposed to take to get to his own personal office. Nawn could have sworn she had just been down this hallway two other times on this mini-adventure .... oh crap! Was she lost ... again?!

Yawning behind his hand, Kazuya shook his head a little and signed his name at the bottom of a report infront of him. Suprisingly, Kazuya had started putting more effort into his job and had actually arrived bright and early this morning. Well, almost bright and early. He had not made it into the office until 9:30 while most were there by eight but for Kazuya it was a vast improvement from his normal noon clock-in time.
"Damn paperwork." He muttered softly as he signed three more documents before setting them in his outbook for the secretary to pick up later. With that stack down he turned to the last folder sitting on his desk. Groaning he stood and wandered out of his office and down the hall. If he was going to get through this morning he was definitely going to need a drink and since Kei frowned on him drinking alcohol at the office his only other choice was coffee.
Rolling his eyes at the confused looks the others in the breakroom gave him he poured his cup and took a long drink before topping it off. 'Yes, its weird for me to be here this early but if you keep staring I will break my vow not to shoot anymore employee's' He thought darkly as he shot them and made his way back to his office.
Along the way he saw a rather amusing sight. Little miss Nawn was wandering around looking completely and totally lost. Chuckling a little he wandered towards her and gave her a small smile. "Hey Sparks," He said in an amused yet friendly voice, "You lost?"

Mi, mi, this building was too massive! She was beginning to need a map just to go across the frickin' hall. This was truly a sad matter for Nawn; getting lost was cute the first few times it happened, but considering her position and the amount of time she had been there, Nawn needed to get the hang of things before she became a burden. Playing a game of hide and seek with a few Abyss might help ...
... but she would rather not bring other people into her problem of being directionally inept. Ah well. The thought of giving up had crossed Genbu's mind for a moment, but when the very voice of the person she had been looking for rung behind her, her face brighten as she turned to meet Kazuya.
"Hey Sparks, you lost?"
-Well, I was hoping it wasn't that obvious, but ... yeah.- Placing her right hand over her face, Sparks chuckled nervously. "I kinda was, but since you're the person I was looking for, I guess I'm not so lost anymore." she stated softly. Taking a few steps toward him, she smiled while subconciously taking her free hand to tug the back of her dress over her massive bottom. Sadly, quite a few men she worked with made her all the more concious of how fat her ass was, and to say Yang was not one of those men would be blasphemy.
To take her mind off of it, however, Nawn held the papers in her hand in front of her and pointed to them. "I was wondering, if you weren't too busy, if you could assist me with the fighting schedule this week, but only if you weren't too busy, sir."

"I kinda was, but since you're the person I was looking for, I guess I'm not so lost anymore." Kazuya laughed under his breath at the nervous laugh that she gave. He could not blame her though. The first few times he and Kei had wandered these halls they had gotten lost more times then either cared to admit. To this day both still claimed they were taking 'the scenic route' whenever someone recalled seeing the two wandering around looking lost.
When she held out papers and pointed to them Kazuya immediately glanced down at them. It was the fighting schedule that he had become very familiar with as of late. "I was wondering, if you weren't too busy, if you could assist me with the fighting schedule this week, but only if you weren't too busy, sir." Calling him 'sir' had his brows shooting up and he snorted a little. No one had called him that in a long time. It was always Kazuya, Yang, or Asshole.
"You don't have to call me Sir. Yang is fine." Sweeping a hand forward he gestured towards a door down the hall. "And sure, I can take a look. Come have a seat."When they were both in the office he half-closed the door just enough to block out the sound but still open enough to let him see who was wandering around the office. Suprisingly his office was not as decked out and grand as one might assume it would be, given his rank and lust for grandeour.
There was a large mahagony desk in the middle with his throne inspired chair behind it. A computer, several folders, and an ashtray with his smokes were scattered across the top. Infront of the desk two normal, leather seats were positioned for visitors and besides two bookshelves with dozens of books and folders the only other lavish furniture was the mini bar in the corner that had been a gift from Caelum on his last birthday and a couch against the other wall that had served as his bed on more then one occasion.
Gesturing for Nawn to take a seat, Kazuya sat in his chair and stacked his folders before placing them in the 'to do' box that he was in no rush to empty out. Instead he pointed to the paper and gave a little grin. "What do you have so far?"

"You don't have to call me 'Sir'. Yang is fine. And sure, I can take a look. Come have a seat."
Nawn blinked in slight confusion at Yang's request. They might have gotten along pretty well, better than him and others, but she surely did not think she had done good enough to call on him without the honorifics. She found such a thing odd as she followed him into his office, nevertheless, though she had to admit of him not seeming the type who received such a thing very often. At any rate, Genbu found herself smiling as she entered Yang's office. Yes, she was taught to always expect the unexpected, and though she was not expecting it to be loud and flashy, she definitely was not expecting the simplicity of the office to be so beautiful.
It was perfect.
Settling into a chair, Sparks crossed her legs as she continued to look around. Y'know, being in here made her feel as if Kazuya was not as bad as his preceding reputation made him seem. Everyone did not seem as bad as the rumors flying around made them out to be. She turned back to him as she noticed he finished with the migration of the papers laden on his desk and placed the papers in her hand in front of him. "What do you have so far?"
"Would you be angry if I said nothing?" Running a hand through her bangs, she bowed her head slightly. "Of course, I haven't really seen these guys in serious action, so I'm not really sure of their fighting styles." Nawn rose from her seat, made her way behind Yang, and pointed to the list as she continued talking. "I'm sure if Kenshin was against anyone, he'd be able to handle himself, as I heard, but the other two I'm not so sure, so I decided to come to an expert for advice."

His eyes were immediately drawn to the papers when they were set infront of him and he gave a half smile when he saw the fight slots were empty. 'Poor girl has no idea what she's doing. Not yet, atleast.' She seemed to be a quick study though so he was ninety percent sure she would catch on rather quickly. "Of course, I haven't really seen these guys in serious action, so I'm not really sure of their fighting styles."
Nodding he immediately grabbed one of the pens from the little jar on the corner of his desk and began pening in names in various slots. Nawn standing and moving behind him was only caught out of the corner of his eye and he blinked himself back to present when she spoke. "I'm sure if Kenshin was against anyone, he'd be able to handle himself, as I heard, but the other two I'm not so sure, so I decided to come to an expert for advice." "I'm sure if Kenshin was against anyone, he'd be able to handle himself, as I heard, but the other two I'm not so sure, so I decided to come to an expert for advice."
Nodding he tapped the end of the pen against his desk and pointed to a few of the names he had paired up. "For the opening fights its rather easy. The previous Genbu had a system he showed me that worked out pretty well."Flipping through the pages in the folder he found the list of all fighters Genbu had made before he passed. "New, weak fighters are highlighted in blue, newer, stronger fighters in green. Fighters that have been around for a while and can hold there own are in yellow while those that have been around a while and are guarenteed to draw blood and rouse the crowd are in orange. Last but not least are the red's. Kenshin, Taisen, Toyaki, and seven other fighters are in this catagory. The prides of the Pit."He said with a laugh.
"Now, to start the night off on the weekends, when we drawn the most clients, you want to get the crowd pumping and in the fighting spirit. The best way to do that is to pair a blue with either a green or yellow. Nothing gets them riled up better then someone getting his ass kicked."Scrawling down a few more names he pointed to what he wrote. "Then you move on to the real matches, the ones they actually bet one. Start with a few green on greens. This gives the crowd the entertainment they want, the fighters the chance to prove their skills and gain good rep, and for us to see who will cut it and who wont. After that, Orange on Orange, which is the same deal. Draws in money and gives the boys a good match. Occasionally we will have a 'moving up' match where we pit and Orange against a Red to see if he has can hold his own. If not we knock him back to fighthing Orange's again for a while, if he holds his own we throw him a few more red matches and if he continues doing well he moves into that catagory."
He paused for a moment to see if she was catching everything before filling in the last few names on the rooster. "Reds are a whole different catagory. They are the main event and bring in the most money. Now these seven,"He said pointing to seven names on the list, "They will fight whoever you want, no questions asked. These three though," He said with a laugh as he pointed to Kisho, Shin, and Kenji's street names. "They are pampered. Kei sponsors Shin and Kenji while Caelum sponsors Kisho so they generally get to pick who they fight though if you assign them to someone without asking they really wont mind. Just don't put them against each other."He said with a mischievious grin,"We turn them loose on one another at special events. When the fans never get to see them fight together they all come running and waving their money around like crazy when they hear they will be paired off against one another."
Scanning the paper one last time he turned in his chair and laughed softly as he handed her the papers. "It's a bit to take in but you'll get the hang of it when you get to know the routine and I am always willing to lend a hand. The Pit has become my baby, so to speak."

"For the opening fights its rather easy. The previous Genbu had a system he showed me that worked out pretty well." Nawn raised her eyebrows in curiosity. Hopefully, this system was somewhat simple as well as it worked. "New, weak fighters are highlighted in blue, newer, stronger fighters in green. Fighters that have been around for a while and can hold there own are in yellow while those that have been around a while and are guaranteed to draw blood and rouse the crowd are in orange. Last but not least are the red's. Kenshin, Taisen, Toyaki, and seven other fighters are in this category. The prides of the Pit."
His laugh was more than just a bit offsetting. Nawn was expecting something more malicious, but it was ... well ... not. It was slightly scary actually ...
"Now, to start the night off on the weekends, when we drawn the most clients, you want to get the crowd pumping and in the fighting spirit. The best way to do that is to pair a blue with either a green or yellow. Nothing gets them riled up better then someone getting his ass kicked." Sparks quickly glanced at the papers on the desk and nodded before watching Yang filling the last of the blanks on the fighting rooster. "Reds are a whole different category. They are the main event and bring in the most money. Now these seven," Kazuya stated while pointing to seven names on the list, "They will fight whoever you want, no questions asked. These three though," he said with a laugh as he pointed to Kisho, Shin, and Kenji's street names. Yet another laugh ... "They are pampered. Just don't put them against each other. We turn them loose on one another at special events. Taking the materials in hand, Nawn nodded slowly while securing the papers. A color coding system ... how ingenious. "It's a bit to take in but you'll get the hang of it when you get to know the routine and I am always willing to lend a hand. The Pit has become my baby, so to speak."
"Gracias for the help. I'll leave you to your own work now." Genbu crossed her arms over her chest and bowed slight before slowly making her way to the door. She stopped once there to open it just enough for her to slip through, but she found herself looking over her shoulder and straightening her dress nervously. "Hey ... Yang, I was wondering if you wanted to go out to eat sometime. I mean, we don't have to if you don't want to," she stated quickly, "only if you were free and wanted to get away from the stress of work ..."

Watching her gather the papers together and hold them to her chest, Kazuya clicked his pen and set it back in its holder. "Gracias for the help. I'll leave you to your own work now." This caused him to laugh under his breath and give a little shake of his head. Respect and politeness was not something he was used to around here. Not that he had really done anything in the past to deserve it with his gun-waving, random shooting, trouble making ways. It was actually quite refreashing.
As she turned her back to him and moved towards the door he picked up the top folder in his tray and opened it. Data reports on this months income flow from the race tracks. "Hey ... Yang, I was wondering if you wanted to go out to eat sometime. I mean, we don't have to if you don't want to, only if you were free and wanted to get away from the stress of work ..."
Glancing up in suprise he slowly shut the folder again. Quirking a brow he contemplated the offer. Normally he would have promptly blown her off without a seconds hesitation. He never really socialized with anyone from work besides Kei, Caelum, and the occasional times spent with the boys at the Pit when they were all working out together or sitting around drinking and having a good time. To Nawn, though, he found himself nodding.
"Sounds like a plan. How about lunch this afternoon? I have a meeting with Yaodin in about twenty minutes, it should take about an hour of so. Care to accompany me to the deli after that? I could give you a little office gossip, " He said with a chuckle, "That will help you really know who is who around here."

Genbu blinked rapidly as she watched Yang slowly close the folder in front of him. Uh oh ... she simply had to open her mouth! She has done it now; she crossed the line. Nawn shifted in her shoes causing a squeak of leather while biting her bottom lip. Well, this expression across his face could not mean all bad. Maybe he honestly had too much work to do. It would not be a poor excuse at all, but Yang nodded to her surprise, and she steadily became less fidgety.
"Sounds like a plan. How about lunch this afternoon? I have a meeting with Yaodin in about twenty minutes, it should take about an hour of so. Care to accompany me to the deli after that? I could give you a little office gossip," Silently exhaling a sigh of relief, she nodded with a soft, meek "Okay." as she heard him chuckle. "That will help you really know who is who around here."
"Alright. I'll see you in an hour and a half. Until then ..."
Nodding, Nawn slipped through the doorway, closing it to the crack it previously was. With her hair swishing against her back rhythmically, the woman felt her ignorance hit her harder than a ton of bricks. Some might say she was being entirely too hard on herself, and though she was fairly new at this job, slacking off was something which could not be afforded.
She wanted her performance to be damn near perfect ... not only for herself, but for someone else also.
Sighing happily as she made it back to her office without getting lost (for once), Sparks closed the door lightly behind her before moving to her desk, placing the items in her hands on top of it and plopping down in her chair. Flipping open the folder, her eyes glanced to the clock on her wrist before her fingers delicately placed the papers in front of her across the wood surface. Alright ... she had an hour and a half. Let's see how much she could learn.

Flipping open the folder once more as Nawn slipped out, Kazuya set to work on the reports. After ten minutes, that felt like twice the length, he closed it a final time and slide it into the Out box for his secretary to pick up later. With a quick glance at the clock he stood and gave a bone popping stretch. 'Off to see Daddy-Dearest.' Chuckling to himself he strolled out of the office and made his way to the elevators. A quick ride to the top floor and a scan of his badge to get past the secured doors and he found himself standing outside Yaodin's doors with the boss mans two burly bodyguards blocking the way.
"I have an 11:00 O'clock appointment with Yaodin, move."
The bigger of the two guards made an exaggerated show out of looking at his watch, "It's only 10:56."
Growling, Kazuya clenched his fists and glared at the guard who liked nothing more then pissing Kazuya off, knowing he could do nothing about it. "It's four goddamned minutes! Just let me in, you ass!" He saw the self-satisfied grin on the mans face a few seconds before he realized he had fallen for it. Raising his voice in the building and cursing at the same time. Two things Yaodin frowned upon in the office and as both men expected they heard a call from beyond the doors.
"Kazuya Ishino, you watch your mouth in my building. Jett, just let him in and stop provoking him."The smirk never left Jett's face as he stepped aside and make a making 'come hither' motion for Kazuya to enter. Rolling his eyes, Kazu stepped towards the door but as his left hand grasped the door his right curled into a fist and 'accidentally' impaled itself into Jett's stomach. Not expecting the blow the man grunted softly and stumbled back a few inches. With narrowed eyes he silently moved forward to throttle the boy but Kazu blew him a kiss and quickly slid into Yaodin's office.
"How many times must I tell you not to yell and curse in my building?" The older man asked quietly, more to himself then Kazuya but Kazu grinned and answered anyways as he slid into one of the chairs in front of the man's desk. "Only a million more, boss-man." Yaodin did not reply to that but Kazuya heard him mumble something about that being a rhetorical question. "So, to what do I owe the honor of being summoned to your office because I am pretty sure I have been following the rules lately."
Yaodin finally sat back from his computer and gave Kazuya a knowing look. "Sure you have."He spoke in a placating tone that spoke lengths of how much he believed his trouble-making youth was behaving. "However, your pretending to be a good boy,"he continued even as Kazuya snorted at that comment, "is not why I called you here. As everyone in this organization knows, evaluations are done every six months on our ranking members and you, boy, are three weeks late with yours. Care to explain why?"
With a groan Kazuya sank down in his chair and huffed out a breath. The next hour was going to be fun. After a nice long lecture and a new, strict deadline set on him Kazuya was dismissed and he eagerly bolted towards the door. Yaodin stopped him though by calling out his name. Turning with a muffled groan he eyed the man who was looking pleasantly at his computer screen again, typing something up. "Remember, one week. And to make sure you do not 'forget' again,"He grinned, throwing one of Kazuya's many excuses lightly in the boys face,"If the evaluations are not on my desk by 11am one week from now, I will have Caelum confiscate your 'toy box' and you will not be aloud near the interrogation room for a month."
Stomping his foot like a child, Kazu pouted. "That's not fair! A week is not long enough." Yaodin was unfazed though as he turned to smile cheerfully at Kazuya. "I do believe you had six months, son. This is your own fault. Now, toddle off like a good little boy and no more yelling in my halls." Huffing out a breath he threw the door open and cast a dark glare at Jett who was doing nothing to hide the amusement on his face. Raising a fist he was about to throw the punch when Yaodin's voice rang out from behind the closed door. "No fighting in the halls!" Both men turned to look at the door in surprise, wondering how the hell Yaodin knew. But, then again, the man was a damned ninja who knew everything.
Ten minutes later Kazuya drained the remainder of the whiskey hidden at the bottom of his desk drawer and eyed the evaluation papers. Twitching slightly he made to pick them up before spinning on his heels. He had a week to do them, surely they could wait until after lunch. Making his way to Nawn's office he rapped on the door with two knuckles and peaked his head in. "Ready to get some lunch?"

The statistics for the fighters were simple enough to understand from what she grasped glancing at the papers for over an hour, but pairing them off into their own little groups could become a bit more difficult, and it was something which was duely noted. Most important right now, though, was memorizing who was which color, and afterward, making a note of who actually was going to step into the ring within the next few days. The woman realized, however, the latter would have to be put on hold as she heard a knock at the door.
"Ready to get some lunch?"
Nodding, Nawn quickly grabbed her purse and her keys, but as she made her way out of the door, she quickly brought her free hand to her face to cover her nose. "Ugh ... have you been drinking already, Yangie?" she asked while giving him a look of slight disbelief, "It's a bit too early to be doing that, don'tcha think? How about I drive," Sparks linked one of her arms with him and pulled him out of HQ and to her car. "while you cool down?"
Unlocking her car, she let Kazuya get in first before making her way to the driver's side and getting in. She smiled as she put the key into the ignition and turned it. "It seems your meeting wasn't very fulfilling." Pulling out of the parking lot, Nawn directed the car to the nearest deli. "Is there anything other than alcohol, sex, and violence that can remedy that?"

While Nawn gathered her purse Kazuya stepped out into the hallway. Seconds later she was pulling the door closed. The look of disbelief she shot him made him quirk a little brow. What had he done now? "Ugh ... have you been drinking already, Yangie?" Oh, that. Shrugging he ignored the comment for the moment as she continued. "It's a bit too early to be doing that, don'tcha think? How about I drive," His brow shot up again as she linked one of her arms around his, "while you cool down?"
'What happened while I was gone?' He wondered as they made their way downstairs, towards the exit. Along the way several people stopped what they were doing or paused their conversations as they passed and he narrowed his eyes at each other them, sending them back about their business. Not that he could blame them for being curious. He never walked around with or in the company of anyone in Head Quarters except his brother, his partner, or Azumi. So to see him walking calmly with Nawn was part one of the shock. Part two was the fact that she had an arm linked with his and he was not only allowing it but had cocked his arm so she could be more comfortable as they moved.
When they reached the parking lot he climbed in her car and waited as she moved to the drivers seat. "It seems your meeting wasn't very fulfilling. Is there anything other than alcohol, sex, and violence that can remedy that?" Laughing he shook his head."Aside from the evaluations for my deparement magically writing themselves, no."As she slowed the car near a little deli he shook his head. "Not here, the foods never fresh. There's a good place on the corner of Bankshead Drive, two streets over." When they reached the place a few minutes later he stepped out of the car and straightened his jacket as he waited for her.
The old lady behind the counter beamed brightly at him as he wrapped a friendly arm around Nawn's neck and led her forward. "Oh! Kazuya! About time you came back! You haven't been around here in weeks! I thought you forgot about a poor old lady." Grinning he leaned over the counter and planted a little kiss on her wrinkled cheek."I could never forget about you, Love. How about two of whatever today's special is at my table? With some ofyour sweet tea?"When she nodded and scurried off to make up the sandwhiches he steered Nawn towards his usual table near the back but close to the window so they could see out onto the street. Dropping his arm he slid into the booth. "So, how are you getting along with everyone so far?"

"Aside from the evaluations for my department magically writing themselves, no." Sparks rolled her eyes as she snorted. Things not getting done the way they should was no one's fault but the person who was actually given the job. She shrugged as she was instructed to a different eatery, and once there, she grabbed her purse, locked up, and followed her boss inside the establishment, giving him a look of mischief as he put his arm around her neck.
The woman had to admit seeing Yang playfully flirt with the older lady was rather sweet. It seemed the more wrong she heard about him, the more he seemed to prove her to his good on so many levels. As she followed him to the sitting booth and slid in, she had to wonder what was truth and what wasn't. "So, how are you getting along with everyone so far?"
Nawn's eyes traveled around the deli as she scratched the back of her head, hoping to stimulate her mind into a legitimate answer. "I can say it's been ... pretty well. I've run into quite a few who were a bit frosty, but there hasn't been anything I couldn't handle." Throwing her hair off of her shoulders, she waved one hand and smiled gently at the male opposite of her. "Of course, I appreciate the kindness you and your brother has shown me, or I don't think I would've made it. Mama never told me it would be so hard..."
Genbu trailed off the rest of her sentence as her eyes traveled out of the window and onto the street. She had nearly forgotten the count of the years it had been since she had seen her mother. In truth, it was the only thing she wanted in the entire world, and if there was a way to get her mother out of jail, Sparks would do whatever it takes to get her out.
Her kind smile turned into a bit of a playful smirk as she turned back to the gun-slinging Kazuya. "Tell me something. Why do you act like such a reckless and intimidating hombre? You're not as bad as the rumors make you out to be, so why bother put yourself on that level?" Crossing her arms cross her chest, Nawn leaned across the table with her elbows on the surface while dropping her voice to a whisper. "You might fool everyone else sweetie, but I know you're not who you make yourself out to be, so stop making yourself appear as a demoralized hombre. The look doesn't fit you."

"I can say it's been ... pretty well. I've run into quite a few who were a bit frosty, but there hasn't been anything I couldn't handle. Of course, I appreciate the kindness you and your brother has shown me, or I don't think I would've made it. Mama never told me it would be so hard..."
Snorting a little he flashed the older lady a smile as she arrived at their table with their food and drinks. As she made her way back towards the counter he happily dug into his food, relishing the taste of the chicken salad sandwhich that he knew mee-maw made slaved over herself. Quirking his brow a little at the playful smirk that fitted itself on Nawn's face he washed his bite down with a bit of tea and waited to see what was next.
"Tell me something. Why do you act like such a reckless and intimidating hombre? You're not as bad as the rumors make you out to be, so why bother put yourself on that level?" Blinking a few times he resisted the urge to laugh. Poor girl had no idea that the only reason he was pretending to be nice to her was so things at the Pit would flow easier with the two of them working together. Kei was the only Ishino brother who gave a rats ass about anyone besides their inner circle.
When she leaned towards him he decided to humor her and leaned slightly forward as she whispered to him. "You might fool everyone else sweetie, but I know you're not who you make yourself out to be, so stop making yourself appear as a demoralized hombre. The look doesn't fit you." A slow frown fell over his face as he sat back and leveled her with a dark glare. What right did this little girl think she had to act as if she 'knew' him and knew who he truely was.
Licking his lips he very carefully slid his plate to the side and propped his left elbow on the table craddling his chin in the palm, giving of a completely comfortable and 'pleasant' aura. "Lets get one thing clear, sweetie, you have no right to assume you know anything about me. Just because I am playing nice with you doesn't mean you know shit. Half the rumors you heard are probably over exaggerated but I am just as 'bad as the rumors make me out to be.'" His right hand, which had casually fallen into his lap while he spoke quickly rose above the table and the deli momentarily fell silent as his finger squeazed around the pistol in his hand.
By the time the bullet lodged itself in her shoulder and the screaming began he had already returned the pistol to his jacket and scooped up his sandwhich. Taking a small bit he chewed it happily before casting her an innocently questioning look. "Care to assume anything else about me?"

"Lets get one thing clear, sweetie, you have no right to assume you know anything about me. Just because I am playing nice with you doesn't mean you know shit. Genbu raised an eyebrow as she slid back to her half of the booth. "Playing nice"? Excuse me? There was no point in even doing that if he was going to be a little bitch about irrelevent things. "Half the rumors you heard are probably over exaggerated but I am just as 'bad as the rumors make me out to be.'"
Nawn never thought this little brat in front of her would take so hard to a few words being said. She also never thought he would actually be so frickin' low as to actually pull out his gun and quickly pull the trigger, and into her shoulder no less. Like honestly, what the fuck was that?!
"Care to assume anything else about me?"
The expression of slight disbelief crossed Nawn's face as she inhaled deeply and glanced down at her shoulder. Looking at Kazuya, her disbelief slowly turned into anger as she swung her hand as hard as she could over his, knocking his sandwich onto the floor. "W ... wha ... WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU, YOU FUCKIN' A?!" she shouted at the top of her lungs, her hand cradling her shoulder. "I give you a compliment and you shoot me? I give you a goddamned compliment and you fuckin' shoot me?! Frickin' stupido! Now you've gotten blood all over my dress!"
Reaching across the table, Sparks grabbed the front of Yang's shirt with her right hand, grabbed her purse with her left, and practically threw her boss out of the booth as she shuffled out herself. "You're taking me to the damned hospital, and I better not hear even a word of complaint." She reached into her purse searching for her keys as she stomped out of the door, ignoring the whispers and the wimpers from the people around her. A huff escaped her lips as she found the dangling pieces of metal. She stopped and turned around long enough to all but launch them at Zuya's face before continuing on her rampage to her vehicle.
"And if you wreck my car, not only will I beat your ass but you're buying me a new one, too." Riping the edge of her dress off, Nawn tightly wrapped the cloth around her shoulder, wincing through the pain. Afterward, she turned her head to the side and continued to bark like an angry canine. "What's taking you so long?! Bring yourself, dude. Hurry up, man!"
