Raizuha and it's harbor affiliate are separated by an expanse of grass known as Midori Field. There are very few trees, but boulders do scatter the field. A dirt and gravel road leads from the harbor to the city of Raizuha.

[From Raizuha - Town Square]

Mizuhebi landed outside the gates and found a few trees to curl up under as she waited for news on Percival's disappearance. This was turning out to be a long and tedious day...

Nightfall had come. Mizuhebi opened her eyes; she had dozed off. She was irritated by the events that had unfolded. She had to remind herself that she, although a recognized guardian, was not a patron spirit or a deity. She was a flesh and blood dragon.

There was only so much she could do...

In another flash of light, the three shinobi arrives at their destination. To avoid any immediate detection, they all ended up behind a tree. Kai hands his bag of replenishing tools to one of his companions, then walks from behind the tree.

"You guys remember what to do. Once we get in town, throw on your disguises and split up. It may be night over here, but that won't stop the demons from roaming around secretly in town...assuming they're actually there." Kai says, since it was obvious that the chief placed him in the lead of this mission.

"What about you? Aren't you going to disguise yourself?"

"No, I'm the messenger...so I'll stay as I am. I'll just have to be twice as careful. Besides...I don't go to Raizuha as much as you guys do. I still don't know why I'm in charge..." The sighs while looking ahead at the road. "All right, enough chatter. Let's go!"

The three shinobi leaps from the tree and on the main road, running through the night as they approach gates closer and closer.

Kai slows down as he couldn't help but see the female Sea-Serpent curled up under the trees near the gate. Hardly ever coming here like the other shinobi have, Kai didn't know who this serpent was, but he could sense no hostility from her.

By the time they are a few yards away from the resting serpent and the gate, all three of them stop in their tracks, then look at each other.

"I'm sure you realized by now...but she isn't an threat to our mission." One of them refers to Kai while keeping his voice low.

"It's night time and we're dressed in black...if anything, she'll think we're a threat..." Kai sighs again while rubbing the back of his head.

"Don't worry. I've seen this sea serpent by the palace many times...She knows the Emperor, so we're fine." The other ninja comments. Taking his comrades' advice, they continue walking, but this time in the direction of the resting sea serpent.

Although it was dark, the moonlight illuminated Midori Field with a faint, silvery light. Mizuhebi's blue scales dimly shined in the light. And in this light, she could just make out movement. There appeared to be three figures garbed in black approaching her.

She first thought it was Raizuha's shinobi squadron. But the trio did not appear to have the same uniforms. She couldn't tell if they were hostile or not, but they did not brandish weapons. It did not seem like they intended any harm.

Mizuhebi decided to speak.

"Who's there?" she asked.

Seeing the serpent catch their attention, Kai stops directly in front of her and looks up to her. Being the leader of this mission, he had to step up first.

"Excuse us if we are bothering you...My name is Kai Hayashi, a ninja of Yamato Village. I'm here as a messenger for Chief Osamu. These two with me are also shinobi of our village...we mean no harm."

"Oh, so you three hail from Yamato Village in Yobimal," Mizuhebi said with a hint of realization and interest. "And you are a messenger?" she asked.

"Yes, in regards to the mission we are on...it regards the overall safety of Raizuha." Kai crosses his arms while explaining. "And I'm supposed to speak to Emperor Raizen about this matter in the chief's place. If you are curious, then I would prefer to explain everything all at once whenever I get the chance to speak with the Emperor...but if you can't, I'll try my best to shortly, but briefly explain our reasons now."

Mizuhebi thought for a moment. She turned to look at the city. The dragon was waiting for news regarding Percival's disappearance, but at the rate it seemed the mages were going, it didn't seem like there would be much of a breakthrough.

"Very well," she spoke. "I will go inform Emperor Raizen that you are coming."

[Megamanwiz]

"Thank you." Kai nods his head in agreement. He now turns to his comrades. "You guys ready?"

The two shinobi quickly whips out large white robes from packs they have on their backs. They throw the robes up and allows them to slide on. Then they pull out bamboo hats as place them on their heads and shift them frontwards. "Ready." They both say at once.

"That was fast..." Kai states, but trying to focus on the mission. He was lucky that he didn't have to put on a disguise...overall, he rarely used disguises on missions.

With nothing else to say, Kai moves his right hand in a gesture for his companions under the disguises of common travelers to moves into the gates after he darts through them. Knowing that the sea serpent will arrive there much more sooner than he will, he tries to make it there quickly, but keeping his speed under control so no one will mistaken him for a troublemaker. He knows that even though it is night time, civilians will still be out.

Mizuhebi stood up and stretched herself out. The dragon looked towards the sky. She leaped upward, and began to glide through the air. She made her way towards Raizuha's palace.
