Admin Guide, A Guide For You Failish Admins

Alrighty, I know the majority of these "rips" call an administrative office "GM" but I like to refer to it as Admin. Now, onto the guide.

Section A:

Seizing your opportunity.

Be very active within a game, perhaps your chance will pop up. Players, including admins, will eventually grow tired of the game and move on to a new game, such is life. When this happens, usually the higher authorities will be looking for a replacement. Bingo! There's your chance. Now, you have two options here. Either you say nothing and hope your "outstanding skills" (unless you're an average unnotable player. Typical.) will have you promoted, or the better option, kiss ass and make a very educated, well punctuated Admin Application.

Now, the application is VERY important. You do not want to continue rambling, if you are young lie about your age. Yes, lying is wrong but most hosts would not like ten through fourteen year olds adminning on their servers. Perhaps even lie about prior experience, but that is a risky choice considering they might decide to check on your experience stories..


Section B:

On the Field.

You've aquired admin! Hooray! Now, onto the usage of said abilities in-game. You log into the game, many people will be skeptical, possibly even paranoid, at the appearance of a new admin to the server. They will not know how this person will react, or if s/he is strict. Let me tell you, being lenient with the player-base was my fatal mistake. Now, somebody challenges you in some way.

Example:

Random Guy: You're abusive and edit yourself alot!

What should you do? Ignore him and leave it alone? NO! Check if the other admins are AFK, if so quickly rush your cursor to the ban verb and type in the reason bar "safe zone attacking". If the others admins ask, you witnessed it and he is a threat to the server. Those are your basic guidelines for adminning.

Section C:

Rising Through The Ranks.

You've tackled the basics of adminning and you now know nothing can be in your way to domination of the server, NOTHING. The other admins may decide to check the logs, which is why, if this feature is still in, you must edit them. Make sure that all the incriminating evidence points against those higher than you. You must become the most powerful admin in the game, none should stand in your way. Kiss the asses of Toastz and Dman, even though they are both raging homosexuals its the only way to the top.

Well, thats about it. You'll need to adapt to your surroundings though, discover how other admins are stripped/chosen/promoted to customize your method using my basic guidelines posted here.
