I really loved reading the Discworld series and later playing the games!

Its a vast fantasy world filled with extremely funny characters, situations and fantasy setting!

It contains (a bit like Shrek) references to serious Fantasy stories, movies, literature, philosophy, real world events (both historically and current) and much much more.

Any one read these books?

I advice them to everyone who likes some good ol' fashioned parody

Well, dear Thunderkiwi

the games are rather old.
They are adventures in the likes of the good ole Lucasart ones, sometimes hard but always funny like hell!

I think the first Discworld is from around '93, the second Discworld adventure from around '96 or so and finally there was Discworld Noir from around '99 - 2000 (i'm not sure about he dates, could be a couple of years around them)

There is also a table-top rpg in Steve Jackson's GURPS franchise.
I think there were 2 or 3 books made for that setting.

IF you want to search for the games, i suggest looking for the first 2 in abandonware sites and maybe for the second and third game in 2nd hand stores or discountbins.

I found Discworld 2 on Ebay Belgium this week, but sadly i dont have the money to buy it!

Good luck in your search, but be sure to read the books first, it helps a lot in solving most puzzles.
And they're really, really good books too!

If you can find them, be it legally or illegally, get them!

They're worth the little money you'll pay for them or the bandwith you waste on them!

They're very good games.

No, adventures!

Point and click style.

You never played games like Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle, Leisure Suit Larry, Myst or the likes before?

Its kinda like that, with a cartoony scenery and feeling

I've played that game. It was a search/puzzle game. Mostly searching.

But terry Pratchet is a good writer. His books are weird and funny :P
