I am Legend, Anyone see that one yet? Zombie flick.

If you don't know, dis is meh first review,
and if you also didnt know, this movie is based off a comic book. (Marvel/DC I dunno).
This is a zombie movie, and it has a lot of character developement with the main char, Robert Neville. Anyway, reviewy time;


Premise: 10/10.
Amazing story, (Dun worry, no spoilers), It starts off with some doctor who cures cancer, which mutates into the deadly zombie virus. Robert Neville is the last man
who survives in New York, and finds ways to cope, as well as Trying to find a cure.

Best Zombie Movie Premise Ever IMO. Dawn of the dead series never explained
anything, the zombies were just there, RE was ok, but it's based off the game,
even though I'm a fan of movies, why watch it when you can play it? And as for
Shawn of the Dead, (Yes I have to, I'm sorry), Funny movie, no char developement,
And its by no means a scary movie. And none of these movies come even close
to the awesome-ness of I am Legend.


Music: 8/10.
I for one, am a fan of Bob Marley, as well as other heavier bands, such as Mettallica or the all favoured DragonForce, which they didn't have, which I will cover in a sec. As for the other music in the movie... There wasnt much
to speak of, Some Orchestral work, which I liked, but for those big fight scenes, It's good that they didn't put any rock/metal in like the afore mentioned, and some RE scenes. It would've completley ruined the movie, for me at least.


Action/Suspence/Drama: 100/10.
The fight scenes were awesome, the first time I went to see it I was like, "OMGOMGOMG", And the whole backstory stuff adds that little bit to make this movie a piece of art. There's also a good down time between the action and the drama.
Day and Night, Day good, Night bad, dur.


CG Work: 10/10.
The Zombies looked so realistic didn't they? And not realistic like "They look like they could be some form of geniticly alterd bla bla bla", I mean, This is one of the movies that show how far technoligy has advenced. But even that being said, That technology is already out of date, thus making it not as good as it really is.


Anyway, if you're a fan of Zombies/Comic story Remakes, then I say GOGOGO!
But even if you aren't This movie is still way more than you'd think it is. (owait hmm damn hype).

I saw like the first 50 minutes or so. I think it was up to the second flashback or something like that. Someone in my English class brought a burnt copy of it in on the last day of the semester so we just watched it for most of the class. But yeah the part that I saw was pretty good.

I still don't think they should be considered zombies, but everyone has their own meaning of zombie.

Either way, great movie.

For me, zombies are people who died and were reanimated as the living dead. IE, in 28 days later, the infected are NOT ZOMBIES because they never died in the first place.

Orly? I thought it was a comic... I could've sworn I saw one somewhere...
And as for the zombie thing... Yeah, ok, I guess, even though... nah w/e.
And yes, this is an awesome movie.

I think they may have made a comic based on the movie.

It's no huge deal. Seven days is a number that was pulled out of my ass at the time I wrote that, and may be a little on the strict side. When people really start to get pissy is when people start ressurecting %$&^ from last year.

I'm also surprised you didn't make a comment on how the rule seems silly. Everybody else who breaks it seems to. Although that's mostly just Crazed.

Well, I have been a moderator at multiple sites, and have had to deal with some pretty chaotic situations. Rules are there for a reason, and to be accepted I need to respect that. I admit I thought it was a bit strict, but it's hardly my place to rant about it around here, wouldn't you agree?
