No.

Just... no.

There's no chance I will even comprehend allowing that to happen.

OMG how many things have happened, I guess.

Rod, I have to agree with everyone in that your game making is really good. Not the best I've ever seen, but good. Pick it up again... Even if only for finishing RPGM2KBRPG.

Anyways, I'm not gonna go very long, since I myself don't know if I'm still welcome here, but hey! I liked RPGM2KBRPG and your prohibition chapter... Are you sure you can't find any little free time for more game making? =| Yeah, you guys must have noticed I like passed my eye quickly over the topic and started writing xD

Anyways, that's my two cents. And yeah, I guess I'm still as dumb as before, but I think... I just think... Maybe if it weren't for the death of RPGM2KBRPG! you guys would still have a forum to moderate.

EDIT: WTF CRAZED. NONONONONONONONONONONO. /internet

Okay a few more things because I'm not sure if I made this abundantly clear.

I still fiddle around in RPG Maker. If I feel like posting my progress I'll do so, but for the most part any concession I make is for me and whoever my limited intended audience is. In other words, I'm making games for my own enjoyment and not promising anything, and if I feel like releasing something I will. Though I'm passionate about one particular story I am working on, I don't care about appeasing anyone in particular. Not to say that I won't accept criticism from anything I do make should I release something, but what I choose to listen to is entirely at my own discretion.

With that said, this absolutely must be understood completely:

RPGM2KBRPG! will never be finished and no one will finish it for us

I appreciate that people like it so much that they are willing to take it upon themselves to finish it, but REDDAP and I both share the sentiment that the game represents a huge amount of our teenage years and it holds a lot of emotional value to us, regardless of the quality of the game.

Also understand that if I really wanted to finish the game, I would still be working on it. However, I did not feel it was worth while to finish it and have moved on to other things. My current "major" project uses numerous elements of RPGM2KBRPG! and the IMHSR games which, should I get past pre-production and get working on it, will be vastly superior to the previously mentioned games at least in the area of plot. Note that this isn't a promise, but the storyline is really what I care about most in this, and I'll most likely revise dialog numerous times before I'm happy with it.

As far as this board's life is concerned, it's of little consequence. If people want to post here then it's perfectly fine by me and I'll likely participate, but for all the time it's been "dead" I haven't felt any pangs of remorse.
