welcome to silence gets us no where. we are a literate harry potter roleplay that only requires 300 words per post. that isn't a hard thing to get to i promise. now take a look around and read those rules. make sure you get those down, and then just have fun. when you register please make it your character's first, middle, and last name all in lowercase. if you forget just ask one the admins to fix it for you and we will. however it is just a lot better if you get it right the first time.

does your character keep a journal about the life at hogwarts? well this would be the place to do it. some students actually write about their days while other keep valuable pictures in here. either of there loved ones or even just pictures of the common room or their dorm. some people even have different things.

need to write a letter to your parents or ones that you are away from while you are at hogwarts? well here you go. you can write a letter to people who are back home, or even if you are home you can write a letter back to someone at hogwarts.

this paper floats around the school and no one is quite sure who writes it. but the students do know that it is one of them. nobody has figured it out yet. however, in this paper some of the deepest and darkest secrets are spilled about some of the hogwarts students, and sometimes even the teachers. some students take this to heart and believe everthing it says. but then other remember that you can't believe everything you hear, or read.

entrance hall
this is the big open area as soon as you walk into the castle. if this is your first year you will be amazed by the big doors and the nice wide open space. while if you are returning, then this is nothing new.

students mainly come here to eat. sometimes they will come and talk to one another while enjoying the changing ceiling or some of the other magic that goes on in the great hall.

hallways
are you trying to get to a class? or just wondering around trying to decide what you are going to do? well then the hallways are more in likely the best place for you to do this. these things go all over the school and will take you anywhere, all you have to do is go in the right direction, and not get lost.

you know that place where you get all those books so you can write those horrid reports for those teachers that you don't like? well this would be the place. here you can find just about anything that you want to know. just watch out for that restricted section, you wouldn't want to get caught there.

the kitchen
are you hungry and searching for a midnight snack? kitchen would be the place to come for that. just make sure that you don't get caught by a teacher, or find a mean house elf that would rat you out. then you wouldn't be able to get anymore midnight snacks, and that would be a shame.

towers
there are many towers through out the hogwarts castle, in some of these you will be able to have a beautiful view of the sunrise, if you get up early enough, or the sunset. some of these even hold classes in them. two of them even hold some common rooms.

do you like dark creepy musty areas? well then i would visit the dungeons often. they have all of that in one area. maybe even some spiders and cobwebs every now and then. basically the perfect area to pull a prank.

for those special students who are special enough to be a prefect, they have their own bathroom. away from those other nasty ones that everyone else has to use, they get their own bathroom.

the room that everyone has heard of. you know right? well you walk up and down the hallway a couple of times thinking really hard about what you want the room to be like and bam! there you have a room that fits the needs of what you wanted or needed. so use it at your own will, but be careful.

this is the dorm room for all those lovely gryffindors. the room is decorated with the house colors, red and yellow. there are nice cozy couches and chairs in front of the fireplace, that would be excellent to relax by. however this is only for gryffindors or their guests that they invite in.

the lake
the black lake is a nice place to hang out. you and your friends could have a great time here. between the nice atmosphere of the lake and the nice shade that some of the nearby trees provide, it would also be a calm place to work on some homework that you should catch up on.

this pitch is that special place for all those athletes who play quidditch. allows them to show off there skills in front of the school. or just come in their own free time to practice. no matter what the field is always open, unless a team has practice of course.

forbidden forest
on for a little adventure? as long as you don't get caught or eaten by some animal then the forbidden forest would be perfect. with the creatures that are in there it would make sure to keep you on your toes. watching every move you make, and making sure that you are listening to anything else that could be around.
