Hi everyone,
Jazz is suspected to have a food allergy so I have to switch to a 1 carb source and 1 protein source diet for six weeks. Whilst doing a bit of research I have read a lot about the BARF diet and the Raw meaty bones diet - are these diets good because I am tempted to put both Jazz and Monty on one. Thanks |

I don't do it myself as I don't fully trust raw meat. However, I know people that do and that have very healthy and happy dogs. The best I can suggest is look into it and then decide whether it is what you want to try.

Thanks for your reply Vera, I have the same worries as you with regards to raw meat. So I am thinking of doing a home made diet instead. Was going to go for a mixture of pork and lamb (which the vet recommended) and offal as the meat source and then vegetables and potato. And also the odd bone to help with their teeth. Do you think they will be getting enough - food and vitamin wise? |
