Poor Thor has been there since June , i keep looking and hoping he has gone off to a new home , he looks so sad in his pic on the site sad.gif Sadly the odds seem to be stacked against him as he is a food guarder and they recommend him as an only dog , i hope there is someone out there willing to give him a chance sad.gif

laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gifI think I'd be up against some serious opposition from my wife, and prob the PMD after the probs with nev. Plus can you imagine me walking two ohmy.gif I'd have my arms pulled outta the sockets lol. laugh.gif laugh.gif

I also was glad to see Thor's been rehomed, and am suprised lil phobe is still there huh.gif

There is a 10yr old female, I hope finds a home now as I think alot will be reluctant to take her on at that age. sad.gif

Everything crossed for her smile.gif

I'd love to have the 10-year old female and if hubby was a bit more into walking "his" dog (being Troy - which he rarely does these days due to various reasons...), I'd ask to give her a try. But I am taking care of four dogs as it is with Troy needing to be walked separately, so it really isn't an option! Also, I would struggle with the financial commitment as a 10-year old would be extremely expensive to insure and vet bills in their old age is unavoidable with these big guys. Unfortunately I am not rich - just yet.

I hope she finds a lovely retirement home soon too.

Nope, no more dogs... four is more than enough for me to cope with! And a younger dog would take up even more time for walks and training than a laid back and calmer oldie. Unfortunately I have to be realistic here. There are already not enough hours in the day for me as it is... sad.gif

I started taking Nev out as early as 05:30 but last few days slept through my alarms so went at 7-ish and had to play catch up all day till evening walk sad.gif

Thor

Sadly it did not work out for THOR, he needs to live outside. He is believed to be about 8 years old and has shown no aggression while in kennels but has occasional problems when living indoors.

Poor guy, i had so hoped things would work out for him sad.gif I hope they are not recommending he live outside just becausde he guards his food
