You were my oldest girl, Pippa. You were never a people rabbit really, you would never be aggressive, but just preferred your bunny husband's company to us! I never had a problem with that. You showed me how much you loved me when we were at the vet's as you always jumped into my arms for protection.

With you, I always had a feeling that something would go wrong if you had to have a GA. That's why I never had you neutered. However, when you had persistent ear abscesses that wouldn't respond to any other treatment, my vet and I decided that we had to take the chance as your quality of life wasn't acceptable anymore.

We were over the moon when all went well. The operation was a success, you came home and everything seemed fine. However, you never recovered 100%, you already low weight got lower, you weren't that interested in food anymore...

I always knew you weren't a fighter. You'd always go with the flow, were happy with just what you had, you never wanted more... So you didn't put up a fight either to help you recover after the op! You slipped away from us on my vet's table on 14th August... I didn't want you to go, but there was nothing we could do!
