Voice Acting Tryouts

UPDATED AS OF 1/11/2010

1. Colonel Tobin - revoiced. I tried but I'm sort of awful with recording lines... I can do the voices but I get nervous when recording or something. Also I rarely get a chance to record. (Master Code has volunteered.)
2. Kelborn - revoiced. This guy's a Mandalorian, so he's wearing a helmet, so it's fine if you have a bad mic. Although on that topic, I really have to figure out how to replicate the helmet sounds from the game. (Master Code has volunteered.)
3. Kaah - new guy, was originally in the game but cut. Here's a picture of him. And I don't want to hear any comments about how giving the black guy a purple saber is racist!
4. M4-78 (Sith Holocron has volunteered.)
5. Vandar - He's in K1 as well, so whoever voices him will have to stick around!
6. Two (Three? I don't remember...) Additional Jedi
7. IS-24 - I think that's the droid... anyway, this is another small role, and it's ok if you have a rubbish mic since it's a droid and will be filtered. (Katarn has volunteered.)

Alright JC, I'm sending you another 4 voice samples. Hope you're gonna be able to hear them better this time, as I've tried to increase the volume of my voice.

Once I get a Mic, then I'll think of trying out.

I'm surprised you don't have this particular Jedi saying "Kane" instead of "this one." I'd think you'd take advantage of your Exile being named by - er - his name!

Hmm, I hadn't thought of that. Though adding Kane's name in seems a bit... odd to me. The Council never really saw the Exile as a person - I don't think they'd use their name so lightly.

Then again, Revan was named . . .

Have all the lines been taken yet?

Eh... Revan was named, true. I'll think about it.

As for the lines... all four Jedi and Vandar are still open. And there are a few other characters with one or two lines each. I'll update the first post.

I think I'd like to try out for Jedi #4. I'll try to send in a submission this weekend.

I removed a couple minor characters from the film, so I removed them from the list here as well. Just Vandar, the four Jedi, and the bartender for now. There isn't anyone else that I can think of for this film; however, I know that I'll need a voice actor for Kaah and possibly Kelborn and Tobin in the next film, if you're more interested in those roles and want to wait a bit.

Hey, I'm somewhat new to the KotOR forums and when I heard about your project, I decided that it seems like something that I want to be a part of. So if you need any voice-acting, or script help, I'll be happy to help out.
