Characters, Our ensemble

As I mentioned in the FAQ, instead of focusing on one character (and his/her companions), Old Republic will feature several characters starring in various story arcs. I'll compile a list of those I have in mind so far... but we'll need more eventually, so post here if you have any ideas.

Revan, Malak, the Exile, and many others from the games will show up of course... but I don't want to over use them; most of the focus will be on the new ones. Mandalore the Ultimate and Cassus Fett will also make some appearances.

On a very, very basic level, I have in mind five different groups - there's the Republic, at war with the Mandalorians, the Jedi who refuse to go to war, and the those that follow Revan and Malak to war, and finally everyone else in the galaxy.

These groups will be represented by various individuals, who I'll list below.

Republic
As of yet I don't have too much planned for the Republic, but I know at some point the Supreme Chancellor will show up, so that's one new character. I have an idea in mind for the Admiral of the Fleet, but he won't be appearing for a while - most likely he'll be named. The Republic will probably be most often represented by characters like Saul Karath, Carth Onasi, etc. as they rise through the ranks.

Mandalorians
The Republic is at war with the Mandalorians, so of course we're going to see both sides of the conflict. Most often we'll see Mandalore the Ultimate and Cassus Fett, his second in command.

Jedi
The Jedi who follow the Council's orders and remain pacifistic. Obviously the Council themselves will be part of this group - Vrook, Kavar, Vash, Atris, Zez-Kai Ell, etc.

MAIA LO
Human female. Jedi Master. She and her padawan will be the main Jedi group (not counting Revan and his followers, since they're outcasts). There will be other Jedi of course, though; Zez-Kai Ell and his padawan will probably show up.

BRAYNAR KORTIS
Human male. Jedi. Maia's padawan.

OTHER GUY
Don't have a name for him yet, just a general idea of his character. He's basically a renegade like Qui-Gon, with a more lenient view of the Force. He wields a red lightsaber, to remind himself of the dark side, and more importantly not to fear it, lest his fears control him. He's on a personal mission to bring down the Exchange.

Jedi Crusaders
The Jedi crusaders who defy the Council in order to aid the Republic in the war effort, led by Revan and Malak. So of course we'll see Revan and Malak. The Exile will show up as well. I can't say more than that at the moment.

Everyone else

These are our true main characters, since in some way they represent all the other groups, and are sometimes torn between them.

KORO'FEN
Twi'lek male. Zeison Sha. A bit of an outcast, currently in a self-exile. His people specialize in telekinesis, but he always excelled in more subtle aspects of the Force.

DODGE MAJOR
Human male. Professional criminal. Captain of the Ebon Hawk by issue #2. Koro joins up with him in order to see the galaxy.

FROTHARR
Wookiee male. Dodge's partner. Specializes in weapons, mostly blasters. Former bounty hunter.

RHIA'FEN
Twi'lek female. Jedi Guardian. Koro's sister. A master of telekinesis and lightsaber combat, Rhia is one Revan's followers, aiding the Republic in the war against the Mandalorians.

JEELA
Rodian female. Mechanic. Sometimes helps out Captain Major and his crew.

Q1-MB
Droid. Former Mark I assault model, currently Jeela's assistant.
