Voice Acting Tryouts

All right, there are going to be quite a few roles that I'll need voice actors for. I'll try to do some of them myself, but for obvious reasons I can't do all of them. Some roles have more lines than others, so keep that in mind. Anyone who signs on for a large role like Vandar will have to promise me they'll stay around to finish the job. Anyway, here are the parts and some test lines:

VANDAR

(Wise, like Vandar always sounds) "No good would have come of it, even if what you believe is true. There is still the matter of Revan, and such truths could leave us vulnerable on two fronts."

Vandar's a big role, probably bigger than Sion. Only one line in EpIV, but lots more in I-III.

The following have one line each...

JEDI #1

(Disappointed, casting judgement) "You refuse to hear us. You have shut us out, and so have shut yourself out from the galaxy."

JEDI #2

(Grim, serious) "Know that there is no turning back from this judgment."

JEDI #3

(Pointing out something interesting, but troubling) "The war has touched the youngest of the Order. Many of them have lost themselves in battle against the Mandalorians."

JEDI #4

(Sort of talking down to Atris a bit, and a little surprised at her comments) "What would you have be done with him, Atris? Be mindful of your feelings. This is not Revan who stood before you. This one walks a different path."

BARTENDER "No blasters, no blasters!"

There might be more lines for the bartender.

Alright JC, I'm sending you another 4 voice samples. Hope you're gonna be able to hear them better this time, as I've tried to increase the volume of my voice.

Once I get a Mic, then I'll think of trying out.

I'm surprised you don't have this particular Jedi saying "Kane" instead of "this one." I'd think you'd take advantage of your Exile being named by - er - his name!

Hmm, I hadn't thought of that. Though adding Kane's name in seems a bit... odd to me. The Council never really saw the Exile as a person - I don't think they'd use their name so lightly.

Then again, Revan was named . . .

Have all the lines been taken yet?

Eh... Revan was named, true. I'll think about it.

As for the lines... all four Jedi and Vandar are still open. And there are a few other characters with one or two lines each. I'll update the first post.

I think I'd like to try out for Jedi #4. I'll try to send in a submission this weekend.

I removed a couple minor characters from the film, so I removed them from the list here as well. Just Vandar, the four Jedi, and the bartender for now. There isn't anyone else that I can think of for this film; however, I know that I'll need a voice actor for Kaah and possibly Kelborn and Tobin in the next film, if you're more interested in those roles and want to wait a bit.
