Ann Rice, I'm surprised our resident demonlogist didn't jump in with that. Here's one Tank might enjoy: Team Yankee- Harold Coyle You'd probably love it, Tank. It has plenty of M1 Abrams in it. It's a story about a fictional Cold War- World War III from the perspective of a M1 tank commander, plenty of sabot rounds and tracks to wet the whistle. -------------------- Jedi Errant

But to be serious for a moment, everyone should read the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowlings.
Its entertaining and if you read between the words its a facinating study of how to build a complete world. |

Ride the River by Louis L'Amor.
This one of L'amor's Sacket novels, but the departure and what makes this one the best is that the main character is a heroine. Echo Sackett makes for an interesting young lady that doesn't hide behind guys and actually out wits and fights them. It's set in the early to mid 1800s. For a historical fiction, this is one apart and really worth reading. -------------------- Jedi Errant
