Anyone have any yet? Some of you have had some real nice weather I know.

I re-potted mine today and I was shocked to see some actually had nice big buds. Well you know those are keepers forsure!

That's funny. Earily warm weather in March and I did have small buds when re potting but since then it has been cold and windy mostly in the range of 36-58 degree. I have small pads on some but still a long way from blooming I'm afraid.

I had 10 today. For the most part they were the pots that I did not divide this year. My James Bryant had two blooms today but I still pulled it to repot in a larger pot and moved it to the large pond.

That's great. I was looking at my plants and even though the almost black is new and only has 2 leaves it has a bud. I can't wait. Wonder what they used for fertilizer :)

Your first bloom may not open if you only have two leaves but after that it should be fine. Did you buy this lily already potted?

Yes, this was the one I bought at Lowes. There are 2 pads that are a really dark color and then I saw the bud. Wishful thinking.....

I would re-pot any lily bought from Lowes or any big box store. The pots they sell them in are not of sufficient size if you want it to produce many blooms. I would transplant it to a oil pan size pot at the minimum. BTW I noticed my Almost Black bloomed today although it was almost closed by the time I arived home from work.

I think I may have a JB that will bloom here pretty soon. I have a bud that is about 4 inches below the surface right now. :popcornguy:

The pot is pretty small. I will get out and pick up a new big one today.

Thank you for the help.
