I trudged through. Clump, clump. "The Grass Lands? Seems pretty cool. Don't you think, Pikachu?" I asked. Pikachu gave me a swift nod. I grinned. Suddenly, I heard a rustle in the bushes. "Hello?" I called. Pikachu stepped forth, waiting for some legendary to attack. But instead, out scuttled... a tiny Paras. I felt bad. I mean, come on. The thing was smaller than Pikachu's hand. But, I would have my first pokemon catch... "Pikachu, Thundershock!" I called. Pikachu let out a bolt that sent Paras flying. The Paras shook the damage off. It used Spore and Pikachu fell asleep. "Pikachu! Wake up!" I called. Pikachu woke up and used Quck Attack. It knocked the little Paras in the air. I tossed out a Pokeball and watched. It shook for a few mintues, than fell silent! I caught it! Me and Pikachu slapped a high five! Now, on to our first city and gym battle!....
