My First Gym Battle

I run into the bug gym looking all around me to see where the gym leader was. Gym Leader Galena I challenge you to a battle

You are about to walk towards Galena for a battle, when out of the tree a guy in a bug hunting uniform jumps in front of you.

"Your thinking about going against Galena? Ha! You'll have to get through me first! Go Pineco!"

A level 8 stood in front of you. *PINE!* it shouted waiting for your pokemon choice.

A Pineco. he looks tough. are you ready totodile *toto* ok then totodile lets use your level advantage to it's fullest. use a leer attack to lower his defence then follow up with a scratch.

"Pineco, tackle attack!" The trainer shouted. Pineco tackled totodile doing okay damage, as Totodile quickly used leer on Pineco lowering its defence. It then scratched Pineco doing okay damage.

(why did totodile not use leer and scratch on the last post? he has a link box for those moves so he can use then both in 1 turn)

Ok totodile use another leer attack to distract the pinco then use a scratch attack as hard as you can.

"Pineco, use protect!" the trainer shouted. Pineco prepared its defense. Totdile was able to use Leer to make it lower defense, but when he scratched, it had no damage.

(it's ok lol, but did the first scratch hit.)

totodile, it's ok protect, can't be used repeatedly. also totodile you need to step up your game, you should be way faster than him, so show that Pineco what your truly made of ans use a leer attack then follow in up with a scratch attack.

"Pineco, tackle attack!" the bug catcher said.

Pineco tackled Totodile doing okay damage. Totodile was able to do its combo being able to distract PIneco with Leer, then using scratch lowering it to weak health.

way to go totodile. just keep it up and use a leer again along with a scratch attack with everything you've got.

"All right, Pineco..." The hunter said with a glare "Use tackle attack!"

Pineco went towards Totodile for a tackle and hit him making him near weak health. Totodile used its combo again, making pineco at near very weak health.

alright I think we got this one, totodile use another leer scratch combo. your fifth leer should lower his defence quite a bit and your scratch should do a huge amout of damage

"It's not over yet, kid! Pineco use your special techinique! Self Destruct!" the bug hunter said.

*PINE!*

Pineco headed towards Totodile and began to light up. Totodile tried to stop it, but it was unable to and the two took damage from the explosion.


The two went separated to different parts of the gym, Pineco and Totodile lay fainted...

"Ha...Looks like that one was a draw...." he said getting a new pokeball ready... "Go, Surskit!"

(Level 7) was ready for battle and waited for its opponent.

Congrats totodile grew a level

ok bellsprout go use growth to raise your special attack

"Surskit, use Quick Attack!" The bug hunter yelled. Surskit sped around Bellsprout, until he finally hit him with a quick attack. Bellsprout planted its roots into the ground, and began to raise its special attack, with Growth.

ok bellsprout use a vine whip and grab that Surskit by the legs and throw it into the ground.

"Don't fall into that trap easily! Use another quick attack!" The bug hunter said as Surskit quickly ran towards your Bellsprout and hit him, lowering him to weakened health. Bellsprout tried to grabs it legs, but was only able to just hit it because of Surskit's speed.

bellsprout use a wine whip to propel yourself off the ground then launch your vines at the Surskit from the air so you can get a better view.

"Surskit, quick attack before he even gets any air!" The bug hunter said. Surskit rushed towards Bellsprout knocking him down. Bellsprout used vine whip while Surskit was close doing a critical hit.

ok nice bellsprout use a vine whip attack as hard as you can and try to dodge that Surskit's quick attack.

"Quick attack again, Surskit!" The hunter said. Surskit was able to quick attack on Bellsprout doing okay damage. Bellsprout used Vine Whip hitting Surskit.

just keep it up bellsprout and use another line whip on Surskit

"Watch out, Surskit! Use Quick attack again, he can't keep up with your speed..."

Surskit ran towards Bellsprout hitting it with Quick Attack once again. Bellsprout used another Vine Whip on him.

ok bellsprout use your vines to protect yourself and when Surskit gets near smack him away with a vine whip.

"If that's the case, Surskit use Bubble!" The bug trainer yelled. Surskit stood back and shot bubbles at Bellsprout, however, it was uneffective. Bellsprout tried to use a vine whip, but missed.

bellsprout use growth to increase your special attack again

"Surskit, use quick attack while he's trying to up his attack!" the hunter said.

Surskit darted towards Bellsprout doing okay damage. Bellsprout rooted to the ground and began to power up.

ok now whip him hard with your vines.

"Surskit, hit him hard with a quick attack!" The bug hunter said.

Surskit darted towards Bellsprout at top speed. Bellsprout got its whips ready to strike. Surskit speeds in front of Bellsprout, as Bellsprout is about to strike. They both hit eachother doing critical damage. The two pokemon landed on the ground hard. It is unsure, if both pokemon got knocked out or if one was still conscious. The match seemed like a draw again, until, Bellsporut slowly rose!

Bellsprout gained a level!

"You defeated me fair and square..." The bug trainer said. "I guess you deserve a reward, take this..." He gives you $160.

After beat the gym trainer I leave the gym and head to the pokecenter to get my pokemon healed

as I walk back into the gym I pass the first gym trainer and keep on walking until I am stopped by what seems to be the second Gym trainer.

!

"Looks like you've passed the bug hunter, can you pass me?"
She said as she had a Pokeball in her hand. "Let's Begin!"

I wonder what pokemon he will send out. weedle lets go. Whatever the pokemon may be use a poison sting on it.

This Gym minion is a Girl.
She then smiled..."Go Spinarak!" She wailed as a lvl.8 appeared.
"Poison Sting!" Spinarak was Shooting out little Poison Needles. Hitting Weedle One by one being effective. Weedle is now Poisoned.

Weedle Why did you not attack? well it's ok we'll get him this time. use a poison sting attack

Weedle then used Poison Sting. Spinarak then also used Poison Sting. Spinarak tried to dodge it but failed. Spinarak also dodged enough to avoid poison. Weedle barely got damage from the poison sting too. Weedle was affected by Poison!

hang on just a little bit longer and use a posion sting attack with everything you've got.

Weedle then used Poison sting. Not very affective! Weedle was affected by poison! Spinarak then used String shot. It stuck Weedle right to the ground. Weedle's Speed lowered. Weedle was a sitting duck!

Weedle finally broke out of the String shot and tried another Poison Sting but weedle then missed the attack as Spinarak used a Poison Sting. Not very affective... Weedle's Affected by Poison.

Weedle tried to do another Poison sting but just then... Spinarak did one himself. Weedle has fainted... Send out your next Pokemon!

ok caterpie it's your turn use a tackle attack

Caterpie burst out of the Pokeball so suddenly when she tried to tackle it missed... When Spinarak used a Poison Sting. Just Barely Missing Caterpie... The Gym minion then announced that "Fine... Lets be serious NOW!"

Caterpie did a direct hit... But was slowed down because Spinarak used a Stringshot. Caterpie speed lowered...

that Spinarak's tough. He's been at weak health for a long time now caterpie. we need to think before we act. I want you to use a tackle attack and hit everything you've got.

Spinarak tried to dodge but Caterpie Hit him. Caterpie then was confident. Too confident... Spinarak poison stinged Caterpie. Caterpie was Poisoned...

the tackle hit the Spinarak doing a fair amount of damage........... "Spinarak use another poison sting now"......... the Spinarak got into position and poited his stinger at your caterpie and unleashed a vast amount of poisonous spikes at caterpie....... most of then hit dealing ok damage.......... Caterpie was affected by poison

great caterpie way to go. now aim low and use a tackle.

Still here... I'm just working on my RPG...

Caterpie used tackle sending spinarak flying back... Seems weaker... Caterpie was affected by poison

caterpie you're doing awesome little women. see if you can finish that Spinarak with one final tackle.

Spinarak dodged Caterpie's Tackle. Used another Poison sting on him... The Poison Sting Hit Caterpie with Critical Damage! Caterpie was affected by poison. Spinarak then went back and waited for your next move. Poison wore off.

caterpie, we can't let that spinark just dodge all your attacks. pull yourself together and we can win this battle. Put your heart and soul into one last tackle attack and give that spinark hell!!!

Caterpie Ran towards Spinarak with amazing speed as Spinarak started a Poison Sting with all of it's power. As they Collided, A cloud of dust covered the results. But when it cleared up Spinarak and Caterpie were then still standing, both then collapsed. Both fainted. " Send out your next Pokemon" She said as she got a Pokeball Ready.

caterpie you did well. bellsprout now it's your turn get ready to use a growth attack.

Bellsprout did Growth... But it failed. The Gym Minion sent out a Lvl.9 Nincada. It then used scratch! Doing critical damage but it didn't leave a scratch on him!(irony lol)

The Vine Whip started whacking nincada. Not very affective! Nincada started to scratch Bellsprout.Not very affective!

Nincada is part ground so we have the advantage bellsprout. now hit her with a super powered vine whip.

the attack hit the Nincada hard smashing the bug pokemon into the ground.......... "nincada get up and use a scratch attack"........ the nincada jumped forwards and scratched your bellsprout doing ok damage.............

now thats what I am tackling about. bellsprout use another vine whip attack

The Nincada jumped and Missed the Vine... "Heh heh..." The Gym Minion was laughing... "That is why I have Nincada! It's Quick! Now Scratch!" As Nincada did a blazing fast scratch doing okay damage!

bellsprout that nincada may be faster than you but you are way stronger. Focus your energy and use another vine whip attack as hard as you can.

keep it up, you're doing awesome use your vines to use a wrap on that nincada. hold her tight and dont let go.

It's Vines Started to Wind around Nincada. When Nincada jumped out of the vines. The Attack missed! As Nincada did a Scratch. Doing Very little Damage.

"Nincada was just getting started! Full Speed NINCADA!" As Nincada Quickly Dodged the Attack but she wasn't thinking straight and Scratched the Ground... This was now a sand-attack. Bellsprout's Accuracy was Lowered...

bellsprout, how can you possibly miss 3 out of 4 attacks, pull your self together. Concentrate all your energy on the target and use a vine whip attack.

I get it... -.- But this is supposed to be hard.
Bellsprout did a Vinewhip that wrapped up Nincada and squeezed her...
Doing great damage... About one more blow would finish her.

The vine whip crushed nincada... just when you thought you were finished nincada stood up and delivered it's final blow towards bellsprout. Doing Great damage but Bellsprout was still standing. You have beaten this Gym Minion........... the minion handed you $180

way to go guy's, you all did great. that was a tough battle, but gym leader is only going to be tougher.

after returning from the pokecenter I head back into the gym, ok Gym leader Galena I am hear to battle you I shout, my voice echos through the gym and I can hear small bug pokemon shaking bushs and trees. Bellsprout before we battle this gym leader I want you to hold this, I hand my bellsprout my well when every you are ready to battle lets do it.

A powerful voice shouts out "Do you think your really ready for this? and if you are you stand no chance against me....... My name is Galena, I'm the Gym leader in this city... If you think your readly lets get this battle started....... heracross lets go"......... a heracross ( level 16) jumped out of the released pokeball...... the bug pokemon stood tall next to the gm leader...... "I'll give you one last chance, If you wish, you may leave"..........

alright I will fight you. totodile its time to shine, use a leer then scratch attack.

"Well, if thats what you want....... heracross now horn attack"....... heracross was much faster and thrusted his huge horn into your totodiles chest doing critcial damage............ totodile jumped up and used a leer attack while sprinting at heracross... lowering his defence a notch...... your water pokemon then dove though the air and used a scratch attack but heracross was able to dodge it by spreading his wings and lifting off into the air.........

it's ok totodile, doing it again. use a leer attack then follow it up with a scratch.

"heracross now use another horn attack"....... heracross flew through the air straight at your totodile and jabbed his horn into your totodile.... causing him to fly backwards.......... totodile quickly got up and use a leer attack from afar........ he then sprinted right towards heracross and scratched him with a powerful scratch attack.............

"ok heracross leer now".......... the two pokemon's eyes turned bright red and shot small beams yof light straight at eachother..... the two beams hit one another but heracross's was more powerful and over took totodile's sending large beam blasting your water pokemon....... the attack lowered totodile's defence a notch.. but totodile was able to quickly recover and he caharged straight towards heracross and landed a hard scratch attack...........

lets switch it up, gather your angerand use your rage attack with all your power.

"ok we'll switch it up too... heracross tackle that totodile now"................... heracross lifted off the ground and flew over to the totodile using a powerful tackle....... the attack hit hard dealing a great amount of damage......... totodile turned red and started attacking the heracross with all of his might........."heracross shake him off"..... heracross simple swung his horn around knocking your totodile backwards.............

come on buddy we got this don't give up use a leer attack right in his face then follow up with a full power scratch.

"your totodile may be tough but see how long he can last... heracross horn attack Now!!"........ heracross lifted off the ground and Soared over to your totodile at extreme speeds smashing her horn into your totodile's chest........... totodile was flung backwards by the attack but was able to get up and landed a leer attack for the 3rd time......... he then sprinted over to heracross......."heracross dodge that attack"........ heracross tried to get out of the way but totodile was right on top of his using a powerful scratch attack..............
