Revamped Johto Game?

Most likely they will, as GSC was a huge success, and considered the best of all the gens. I'm among them, but I don't think that a remake would be that much better. In some respects, FRLG was worse than RBY imo. It might go over well, but honestly, who can tell now?

There is a Pokemon Rom tossed around made by someone named "Zel" He made: Pokemon ShinyGold, a hack of FRLG... I've tried it, and, its very nice. But I only played until Morty, the Ghost Gym Leader. (Boy, that Gengar was hard to defeat) I have been visiting other forums and some say that Nintendo was impressed.. Time to find out...

I did know of the Shiny Gold Rom. Technically, I don't think it's illegal as it's a fan-made game (roms of other GBA games are technically illegal, and is considered pirating). I've also heard it's a very great game, with added stuff and whatnot (e.g. Carlos). I can't say more than that, as I've never played any emulators.

Of course they will. If they made one for their oldest game, why not their second oldest games that weren't of the best quality?

It's the same with Legend of Zelda; they'll probably remodel the really really REALLY old ones, too.

But they're working on PKMN Opal.

You don't know whether that was an April Fools joke or not...The Shiny Gold, Silver, and Zircon were all hoaxes.
It might be Opal, but for now, we really don't know yet. All the same, they're working on the 3rd 4th-gen game.
