I'm getting a laptop made that will work FOR Sims 3...

Now before you go all "UR BUYING A LAPTOP JUST FOR 1 GAME!?!?" on me, my reasoning is this... Sims games have always had semi-high standards for requirements to play them, so if I get a laptop that can play the sims, it SHOULD be able to play pretty much everything else... and plus, a top of the line laptop is an epic thing to have...

PC... I personally hate Apple, and I would never voluntarily give them a single dime of my money... plus, PC's still have better program coverage, more usage among the masses (so if I have a tech question, I can get more help), and I have the familiarity with the thing itself... (I'm going for an HP)

Plus, don't get me started on prices... tongue.gif

My sister bought it the other day and I've tried it out, but the problem I have with the Sims is that time flies by when I play it. Most of Saturday disappeared in an instant for me..

Fun though, it's a lot easier to navigate between your house and the town.

Yeah, I'm hoping the management of the sims needs are easier in The Sims 3... I always hated that I could balance EVERYTHING except the social lives for my Sims... because they were usually too busy showering, working, cooking, cleaning, learning, sleeping, or being entertained to have friends... XD

I have it and it's pretty awesome. It's much more life like. For example, the sims get full after one meal! So no more eating three bowls of mac and cheese to completely fill up the hunger bar. It's doesn't too well on my computer but from what I see it's pretty awesome biggrin.gif

Yeah, that always annoyed me too... my Sims would eat an entire plate of burgers and STILL be a little hungry... the slobs... XD

Its a very decent game. It has lots to do And I have been playing it for 2 days straight.. I really dont have time for the detailed review but If you have a proper graphics card, Speed, memory, etc It runs perfectly AND Its a whole lot of fun. Careful thou the game is very taxing so keep the comp in a cool place so It does not over heat. Besides over heating its really addicting, interesting, endless game ^.^

This game makes me want to kill people.

Attempt 1: On my laptop. Cheap laptop that's runs great. No problems running games before. I turn the game on and the loading screens take five minutes to go through. Then it lags like crazy.

Attempt 2: After restarting the game, I try it again. Runs well, lags a bit, and the loading screens still suck. I get through making my guy, then go to buy a house. After a few minutes, it lags horribly.

Attempt 3: It won't do anything due to lag. I give up on my laptop.

Attempt 4: On my mom's newest computer. Runs very good at first. While making my guy, the screen turns black and nothing happens. Restart it.

Attempt 5: Making guy and screen goes black. Restart.

Attempt 6: Making guy. Screen freezes. I shit brix.

I'm now installing it on my mom's other computer.
