You know the drill. If you've watched multiple movies recently you can review them all if you want. I really don't care. Make best use of your post, I guess...>.>

I'll start:

Traitor: 7.5/10

I wouldn't say that I loved this movie, but I enjoyed it the whole way through. Like most good movies, it keeps you guessing the whole time. The concept was (I believe) original and gave you plenty to think about afterwards as well as shedding a new light on Islam.

UP 9.5 out of 10

This movie was really good, it was somewhat for kids, but the first 10 minutes are enough to show you that you have an adult theme running through the whole movie. Carl (the old man) shows himself to be a lovable character, even with his cantankerous ways. I don't want to spoil anything, but you'll have enough to laugh at watching this, and hopefully you will be touched by the message it gives us: You should never give up on your dreams, no matter how long it takes to achieve them.

I do sorta wish Carl's past was explained throughout the film... though, we might've hit a Holes scenario if that were to play out...

Bad News Bears: 6/10

BTW, it was the original one, not the remake.

Anyways, I thought it was alright. It was pretty funny but the plot was predictable and not that great. Oh well. =/

The Day the Earth Stood Still (the new one): 6/10...

I'd seen it before... and the premise isn't exactly new (I know it's a remake, and that chances are a ton of alien flick have taken hints from the original and all that, but I wish that they had freshened it up a bit...) so that detracted a little bit from it... maybe if this movie wasn't released in a time where tons of other alien flicks were out, I'd appreciate it more... but *shrugs*

It's still a decent movie... even if the kid annoyed me so much that I semi-wished the guy would have killed him/removed his vocal chords...

Up.
8/10.

I give it that rating simply for its category, not for my personal likings.

Neverending Story: 4/10

I'd never seen it before so I figured that I might as well watch it. Plus, my family was watching it anyways, so....>.>

Anyways, despite being old and haviung terrible special effects, I thought it was alright. The concept was pretty unique. It would've had great potential, but the acting was terrible and the ending was fitting, but really retarded.

Edit:

Never Ending Story 3: 1/10

I was forced to watch it by my mom. Fortunately I was at a baseball game when they watched the 2nd movie....>.>

Anyways, this movie sucked beyond belief. The plot was terrible, the characters/acting was horrible and annoying. The world could've done without this movie.....>.>

Positive point: A young Jack Black played the main villain so it was kinda fun. I can't believe he got dragged into that crap....>.>

Edit2: I guess I'm the only one who watches movies around here....>.>

Lions for Lambs: 7/10

It was really good. Unfortunately I missed the first 15 minutes cause I was busy doing something else so I was a bit lost at first. It was well put together and it raised alot of questions. The ending was kinda sad, but it was good nonetheless.

The Happening: 4/10

It's the second time I've seen it. It's alright, it felt like how all Shamalayan's movies feel, but the ending was kinda disappointing. Although, I don't hate it like most people.....

Valkyrie: 8/10

It was pretty good. Well put together. Some characters were annoying but whatever....It was still cool since it was based off of true events. I wasn't too happy with the ending, but whatever.......

A brief note on Valkyrie: a big downside/lameness is the fact that all the "Germans" don't have German accents so the film isn't completely realistic...>.>

Transformers 2: 8/10

The action was awesome. I wasn't sure what to expect since I've heard both great and bad reviews for it. I thought that it was an overall good movie, but there were some things that could've been left out (such as the dogs. You know what I'm talking about). Otherwise it was pretty good. A bit long, but good. =/

Edit:

The Code: 6.5/10

If you haven't heard of it, don't worry. I hadn't either until my mom picked it up. Apparantly it's a new release, but again, never heard of it.

Anyways, it was a pretty good movie. It has Morgan Freeman in it so that makes it awesome already. The plot was good. The plottwists were better. The downside of the film is the unnecesary sex scenes. It was kinda a "WTH......we don't need that." kinda thing. I can't really say that it was unnessential to the plot, we just didn't need to see it....twice.....(fortunately, I was posting while watching it so I didn't have to watch it)

Overall, I thought it was pretty good. It was a downer that they had to show that other crap.

edit2:

The Holiday: 7/10

I thought it was pretty good. It was funny and interesting and had an ok plot. I hated Cameron Diaz's character, though....>.>

edit3:

Up: 7.5/10

It met my expectations. It was good overall and had a really good moral to it. The dogs got annoying near the end, but that's just me.....If you haven't watched it yet, watch it. It's worth seeing.

Amadeus: 9/10 (on DVD)

It was a great movie about a guy who thinks he beat God by killing Mozart. Classic. Best parts are when people die.

Public Enemies: 6/10 (in theatre)

An okay film. Kind of makes you wonder what the point of it was (aside from the fact that it starred Johnny Depp). But despite shaky camera work it was well made.

The Mummy Returns: 3/10 (on TV)

After seeing the first film you kind of have to say to yourself after this one: Haven't I seen this before. Plot stunk and drama was dum. At least it was funny.
