Squirtle: Huh... so where is this wailord anyway? You'd think we'd be able to see it right away... Can a wailord and a granbull even mate?

"I'd thankyou not to discuss my marital life around me." A voice booms nearby. A figure emerges from a flower field somewhere ahead of you.

"But no matter. I've hired you to help me, and help me you shall. Take this note so that my wife recognises that you are there to help her." he says firmly. "I would like you to complete this mission as soon as possible, she will be quite angry with me if I don't do all that is within my power to rescue her.

"A word of warning too, if I may. The Pokemon of the dungeon refuse to let me pass, and they may do the same to you. I am by no means a fighter, so I suggest you be on your toes if you wish to even enter the place. Take care now."

Hmm, he didn't leave a chance for you to introduce yourselves. Oh well, maybe you should press on anyway?

Squirtle: *reading note* Huh... he really is an odd one... Well, let's keep walking.

Bulbasaur: I wonder what type of pokemon we're going to see. What if they're unfriendly like he said?

Squirtle: Why would anyone simply be mean at first sight? We haven't done anything to aggravate them, so let's just keep going.

Bulbasaur: I'm scared.

Squirtrle: Bock! Bock bock bock bock!

Bulbasaur: Stop it, I'm no pidgey, this place is pretty big for being small.

As you enter the dungeon, a booming voice seems to emanate from nowhere. Surrounding you, it feels threatening as it speaks.

"Who dares enters the least dangerous dungeon in the land? Answer me!" the voice yells. Oooh, spooky.

Will you try to discern where the voice is coming from? Or will you just respond to it? Could this be the Pokemon that stopped Granbull from entering the dungeon?

Squirtle: It is I, sir squirtilot and my lovely companion sir bulbawhine.

Bulbasaur: Normally, I'd be mad at you for calling me sir bulbawhine, but there's an extremely scary voice coming from somewhere... *shudders*

Squirtle: Please, show yourself, we only wish to find a female wailord who may destroy your entire woods by eating it if we don't bring her back soon.

Bulbasaur: Hey, did the ominous omniscient voice say this was the least dangerous dungeon? Because this is pretty scary already... *trembles*

Suddenly... A GIANT HEAD FLOATS INTO VIEW!!!

"I AM THE GREAT WIZARD OF THE SMALL WOODS!!! BEGONE!!!" he shouts as Green Flames burst out of the ground and set a few trees on fire. "Oh goodness.... EUGENE, IT HAPPENED AGAIN!!!"

Suddenly a few squirts of water fire out of one of the trees and the flames are doused...

Well... that was certainly odd...

Should you try reasoning with the "Almighty" Wizard, or should you try to save Wailord before the Fearow get to her tender flesh?

Squirtle: Hold on, maybe he can help us get to wailord-ess. OH GIANT HEAD, WE SEEK FOR THE POKEMON WAILORD. IF WE ARE ABLE TO FIND HER AND BRING HER BACK HOME, WE WILL LEAVE YOUR WOODS. CAN YOU GIVE US ANY INFORMATION ON HER WHEREABOUTS?

"You idiots." the voice responds. How rude! "Wailord do not make Small Woods their habitat. You are clearly lying, just like that foolish Granbull earlier. How dare you try to lie your way into my dungeon?"

This voice doesn't seem to be easily convinced. Pretty stubborn for a disembodied voice. What can you do?

Squirtle: You were right Bulbasaur, this guy's just going to yell at as like an insane mankey. Let's go that way.

Bulbasaur: Okay, bye scarymonsterheadfloatingdude!

"Fare you well, fools, for I promise I will make this mission the worst you will ever face." The voice cackles around you.

It's rather ironic though, as this dungeon is very bright and cheery. You can see some Wooper running past in the distance, and a Weepinbell picking berries off a tree in a nearby field. Doesn't seem to bad.

Will you ask for assistance, or boldly explore at your own pace?

Bulbasaur: Let's go talk to the weepingbell, it's the same type combination as me, and maybe it'll give us some berries.

Squirtle: Okay. I guess this place isn't so bad after all...

You walk up to the Weepinbell and suddenly...



WEEPINBELL APPEARS!!!

... Wait a minute... WE KNEW THAT ALREADY!!!

"Liek, OMG! HAI!!!" The Weepinbell says as she waves to you from a distance. She definitely seems nice. But then...

"NOW RICKY!!!" The Weepinbell screams in a deep male voice.

The ground beneath you collapses, sending you crashing below onto a stone ground. Both Pokemon miraculously only take 2 damage, and as they look around, they realize that they're in an underground cave! You hear a strange noise echoing through the cave... but there are 3 paths! The first seems to lead back to the surface. The second runs alongside an underground river, and the third leads into a dark passageway... where horrifying screams can be heard... no wait, that's just the wind...

Hmm... what to do...

Bulbasaur: No, I want to get out of these spooky tunnels.

Squirtle. But where there is water there could be a wailord.

Bulbasaur: Okay, we'll follow the underground river....

You travel down the path adjacent to the river, and the moaning sound seems to increase in volume... Whatever is making that noise doesn't sound sinister... but it does sound creepy...

You soon arrive at a point where there is a sort of stone bridge made by the water erosion that you can cross the river and continue on the path... but it doesn't seem completely sturdy... should you still go for it?

Escaping isn't an issue for you... but you do need to find Wailord... and the description matches...

"Who's there? Are you a Rescue Team!? Oh thank you for getting here so soon, I was STARVING!!!" She gushes. "YOu see, I was swimming in the lake when suddenly a Weepinbell yelled "NOW RICKY" and caused a Whirlpool to suck me into this underground River... and as you might see... I'm stuck!"

Hmm... this would be a problem... if it weren't for the fact that you could leave the dungeon with Wailord instantly with your trusty... ... ... WHERE'S YOUR RESCUE BADGE!? YOU KNEW YOU HAD IT WHEN YOU FELL INTO THE CAVE!!! Then it strikes you...

Sableye... it must've stolen it when it ran into you!

Squirtle: That rotten slabeye.... Yes wailord, we are a rescue team, and we are here sent by your husband to rescue you. But, our magical warping badge with inexplicable powers considering we are only pokemon has been stolen. Bulbasaur will stay here with you, and I will run down to the other path and catch the bandit.

Bulbasaur: But... why? She is in no condition to attack.

Squirtle: Which is exactly why we need one of us to stay with her. Plus, we can't just put two water pokemon up against whatever might come your way. Look for berries for her, and I'll go down the opposite path.

Bulbasaur: Okay, good luck.

Squirtle: Thanks, same to you buddy.

OoC: While I don't know where Tam wants this to go, it would be rude of me not to update this while you're online, so I'll just give it a bland update.

The good deeds of Squirtle.

Squirtle races down one path in a desperate attempt to catch up to the Sableye. The rescue badge was only recently given to you! You can't lose it now!

There's a collapse in the path up ahead. It'll be difficult to navigate without further destroying it. One false move and you'll be badly injured. This will take some time.

There's a large rock that looks like it could move easily. But it might collapse the path further. Will you try to remove the obstacle quickly, or carefully navigate around it?

Underground Gardening with Bulbasaur.

It was a good choice to send Bulbasaur to look for berries. It can clearly detect the scent of several kinds of berries down the path nearby. They seem pretty far away. You're going to have to make a run for it.

Wailord moans somewhere nearby, starved. It's going to take a lot of berries to keep this ol gal healthy.
