Lurking through the tall trees, Cloud found herself exploring the forest in fear. Face sweaty, and terrified out of her wits. She'd never before been this frightened by something so simple. Though she'd been seeing things like this since her abilities had been growing on her.
A few hours previous, Cloud was busy studying for no reason. She never quite understood the purpose of attending school again. She knew just about everything she needed to know, other than about her ability. She knew she wasn't getting any better, but no matter what she tried her best to prevail.
Cloud grew very tire sum of studying. There wasn't a damn thing she had planned. She never had anything planned. She had little friends, and none of her family wanted to communicate with her this time of day. She rarely had friends by her side because of the fact, everyone hated her personality. She was dull, and very two faced. She never really told the truth. She never saw a point in being herself. No one liked her, so she just pretended to be whatever anyone wanted her to be. No matter the consequences it would give her, she still lied to stay interesting. Point was, some people were talking to her because of her money, some talked to her cause she lied to make them like her. Though most tend to fray from her, she found herself socializing with people she knew hated her. She didn't care.
As she staggered her way through town, she felt eyes on her. She hated the feeling. She hadn't a reason as to why anyone would be looking at her. No one knew her well enough to be looking at her the way she thought they were. She wasn't who everyone thought she was, yet she felt no need to change. Now running towards the forest, she hadn't any idea what next. She lived more in the moment. Never thinking anything through clearly.
As she comes to a sudden stop, she was now in the forest, and she saw a tall figure ahead of her. She looked long and hard. Was it a hunter? Or maybe a rabid human? She decided that whatever it was, she wouldn't want to be around long enough to find out. She looked behind her, then back to where the figure last stood. It was gone?
"H-hello?" She shouted.
"Anyone there?" She knew that she was taking a risk, but she wanted to know what scared her. Lurking through the tall trees, Cloud found herself exploring the forest in fear. Face sweaty, and terrified out of her wits. She'd never before been this frightened by something so simple. Though she'd been seeing things like this since her abilities had been growing on her. She felt like she was once again going crazy. Something she couldn't even explain. Seeing the tall figured she'd seen before she had knew him. She'd meet him twice before, why did he just seem to scare her now?
"L-lance?" She stuttered. "What the hell? Why didn't you answer me when I c-called for you?" Taking deep breath, she took a few steps back. She wasn't sure if he knew what she'd been talking about. Lately she'd been seeing a lot of funny things. Things a human wouldn't have been able to explain. He mother always told her she was a dreamer. Was she dreaming again? She pinched herself, and closed her eyes tight. Looking at Lance, was he confused?

Seconds before he’d stepped into view, Lance’s eyes were instead watching the face of another man that had been in the forest too. Having been here for the better part of an hour, Lance had initially commented to him on the ridiculousness of the heavy overcoat and layers of clothing underneath despite the warming weather and then conversation flowed through to how creepy his elder was and finally rested upon information from the school and a parcel exchanging hands. When the voice of a girl, a vampiress, broke through the trees, it was about the moment that the parcel had come into view, and the older man grinned and said they had maybe a few more seconds.
Seconds before he’d stepped into view, Lance’s hands held a gift of drugs and other items and his eyes briefly left the face of his elder to see where the girl was coming from. When he turned back, Darri was gone.
More annoyed than surprised, Lance gave himself five seconds to stuff the parcel into his own light jacket, and gave himself another second to decide what to do. Though running as fast as he could was what he should have done, as getting caught by most/any authority figure from the school might result in more trouble, more restrictions, and possible pain, he stepped out into view instead. Always more curious than worried.
Offering a wave to the girl, he grinned, “Hey, what’s up?” His fingers briefly brushed the small lump over his hip, and he was confident, if not cocky, the shadows had hidden him well enough. Whistling, he continued, “Cloud, right? Can’t forget a name like that. It’s pret-ty late, some might be suspicious to see a young girl walking this deep in the woods. Course, I know better.” As for himself? Well, suspicious behavior was almost always tacked onto his name, even when he was sure he was being as innocent as possible.
Being caught at night after Darri’s ditched him once again?
Nothing new.
