Abilities & Misc:
Céleste can influence other people to do as she commands. Of course that doesn't work on just anybody, there are certain limitations: 1. the persons volition to serve her (if she orders s.o. to bring her a coke who absolutely hates her, then yeah.... he probably won't); 2. the persons principles (when s.o. believes killing is evil, then he won't go around shooting people); 3. her own understanding and knowledge of the person (weaknesses, beliefs, events that happened in life).
Everytime she "orders" she uses up life energy that will manifest through pain. If too many persons are ordered wounds will open and she will eventually die. If she orders more people than energy she can give then she will die and she will only have given as many people an order as much energy she had (dunno if you understood this, here an example: she orders 30 people, although she has only enough life-energy for 20, then only 20 of these will recieve the order).
She uses up more energy(i.e. feeling greater pain and eventually wounds will open), and may even fail, if the person is not "ideal" i.e. hates her/would never do it by choice/only serves himself. You get the idea!
Right now Céleste can order three people before fainting (assuming these are all ideal). The first is rather easy and she will only feel mild pain. The second person will cause her great pain, but it won't show physically. Ordering the third person wounds will open up and she'll start bleeding heavily. The wounds will take time healing, just as if they were normal wounds.
One more thing: she can only use her ability when she actively concentrates on it. Imagine every time she tells someone to do something she would feel pain.... Anyway, that also means that she activates her power through her will, and at least in this case her will determines the power of the given order, but NOT the energy that's used.
OH, and one.... last thing: she can't use it on animals, for a yet unknown reason.

Okay, summing up (since I'm kinda confused myself), her powers are influenced by:
1. The more Céleste desires that a person will follow her order, the harder it is to resist the order.
2. The person itself: attitude towards Céleste, and own principles, as well as Célestes understanding/knowledge of the person will influence the pain she feels.
3. The number of the persons ordered. With every person she orders in a short interval of time, the more life-energy she uses, meaning the pain she feels will be greater with every person and wounds will open up.


Personality:
As a child Céleste was very haughty and arrogant, she's changed, but these traits still exist and her past is the basis for the way she's acting now. Sometimes she will be her old self, confident and bitching around, but those are very rare cases.

Now she is very quiet and rarely will make the first move to talk with someone. As a result she's thinking a lot, usually about herself. She's so wrapped up about herself that she's become almost completely oblivious to other people's feelings, and often will misinterpret situations, also because currently she can't understand irony or sarcasm.
In addition she's paranoid when it comes to other people. Not in the "they all want to kill me" insane way, but the "everything they say is about me, and therefore every laugh is a mockery" vain way.

She's become like this through witnessing the murder of her mother, and the following loneliness she needed to bear herself. Despite being egoistic she was, and still is, very innocent, she can't lie, or at least not very well, and she needs company like air to breath.

Being a stuck up vain person who doesn't know how to be friendly makes it difficult for her to fulfill her need for friends and companionship. Especially since she doesn't even realize that need herself.

This conflict of feelings, and the clear existing memory of her mother's death, makes her a whiny girl that cries often even though she doesn't want to.


Physical Appearance:
Céleste is 5 ft 5 in tall and that's actually kind of small. She isn't that curvy either, but she doesn't care about that.

Her heart-shaped face is surrounded by light brown hair that tends to be curly. Her grey eyes usually show a sad expression and they're her biggest feature as they're very light and bear a contrast as there's a darker grey circle that emphasises her eyes.

When she was young her hair was actually golden blond and she emited a light and radiant aura like a bonfire. But as she got older it turned brown, and that disappointed her deeply.
She doesn't stand out as much, partly because she doesn't try to anymore.


History:
Céleste was only born because her parents shared the opinion that the empusa clan needed more loyal members (like them). Her father also was of the opinions that humans merely serve as food. Her mother was more practical and saw things as they were, and she was partly able to influence her daugher to think alike, but Céleste never lost the feeling of superiority.

She grew up in a small village in France, envied by some citizens for her beauty. She soon found out about her ability when a girl that was always picking on her just left when Céleste had told her to. She later accused Céleste as a witch and a monster and her parents decided to leave for Britain, partly because they were fearing they might have left a too obvious mark on history and human minds since they stayed in a place too long. They were travelling like they did before, living a few years in a village or a big city, not trying to stand out, and then disappeared to live in a town far away from where they've been before. Céleste hated it, to keep up appearances she needed to work now, and be dirty all the time, not being able to wash herself.

In the first village she made her first terrifying experience (although kind of silly): a boy who fancied her made a dingy remark and she used her ability, and that was the first time it didn't work. Because it was in public everyone heard and she was shaped by that experience. She was around 16 and stopped aging at almost the same time. After that she accepted the traveling and the uncommon and disliked circumstances for a while.

She stayed with her parents another 4 years, not because she was particularly fond of them but she didn't have any friends and feared the loneliness that would inevitably follow.

The second terrifying experience followed soon.
It was a coincidence that their cover flew up, because it actually hadn't. They had met other vampires from their clan and stayed with them for a few days savouring the contact to strangers. But apparently these strangers stood out a lot because hunters had noticed and attacked them, Céleste's family right in the middle. Of course her parents stayed and fought telling her daughter to run. She resisted for a few seconds, but then her mother was torn apart right in front of her.

Céleste fled, horrified. After this incident she never met her parents again and she also doesn't know if any of them still lives. She did the only thing she could after that: survive, do what her parents did, travel from village to village. She learned much about it when she was with her parents, but she still had troubles adapting, considering the circumstances that's not surprising. It took her 3 years to find out about Worthington Preparatory Academy. It was like a life line to her and still she only grabbed it hesitantly.
Now she starts her first year at school, accepting the thought of humans and vampires together, actually she doesn't care.

Could you please PM me with your plans for her once you're ready to make her? Just so I could check them over and all and see how you want to build up the clan/help fit her in with hunter lore and all ;o;

As for feedback, there's nothing much I can say really. Other than, of course, if you're worried about how she'll fit in, roleplaying Celeste out will be the best way to figure your character out and how she fits. We'll, of course, help you with anything we can help with <3 so no worries and all.

For the personality, she used to be a haughty, arrogant, spoiled child, no? And then due to her parent's death she became more quiet/reserved? Just clarifying there XD

And also:

So, is it that she may die if she tries to force herself to extend her limit? It sort of sounds like her body has a check for that (the thirty people and she only can get to twenty), so how can she die from it if her body prevents it? Or is this a case of her majorly trying to force her powers to reach the higher number?

Those are just things that confused me a little, but nothing big. Other than these things, I'm totally cool with this app and I'm accepting her now <3

Welll.... Must admit I don't really understand your question. But when I wrote this I had in mind that she orders many people at the same time, because she obviously can't do that because she will faint before that. To be honest I haven't thought about if this is a defense mechanism from her body or if that's merely how her power works and she need to control it herself. Should I know that?
And for the feedback I kind of meant if I overdid it somewhere, I don't want to create a character that seems illogical in its construction (?).
And with the personality change, that's correct. Is it too much?

I changed her age and adjusted the numbers of the history, then I rewrote her personality, and I slightly improved how I described her appearance.
I really don't know what i was thinking when I wrote her personality e__e
